For anyone healh tracking or has conditions, it can be extremely useful as an early warning system that something is wrong. That could easily be the extra time that can mean life and death, or avoiding a potentially serious injury in the case of a dangerous fall or even a car accident.

The press release may be to announce the new stuff OR to announce when they'll announce the new stuff... either way, the big rumor says it'll have oxygen measuring feature, haven't heard anything else exciting about S6.

O2 sensors are nice but you need an external device to read that ie finger clamp.

Best Buy has the 42 for $199

Honestly the S6 isn't the thing affecting the price drop of the S3, its that Apple is also releasing a budget version of the Watch, similar to what they did with the iPhone SE, so I'm guessing its gonna be a barebones version of the S3 with a newer chip for ~$200. I would wait to hop on this deal
