24" Bypass Lopper
trims tree branches, bushes, brush, and fingers if you are not careful
Reg. $10
Sale $3.36
11% Mail-in Rebate for $0.37 in Menards Store Credit Effectively $3 after including value of $0.37 Menards Store Credit
They charge a processing fee to do store pick up too.
Why would you do that? It takes less time (and probably less contact) to go get it yourself and check out at a register than to wander through the store trying to find the pickup desk and wait for them to go get your order.
Again, this is really only a deal for B&M purchasers. Menards is rarely, if ever, going to be a great deal for those who make online purchases.
Then don't do it and your cost will be a whopping $3.36
But for those who shop frequently at Menards, all of their receipts can be combined and sent in together - a pretty easy and reliable process that results in a merchandise credit showing up in the mailbox in a few weeks.
I wouldn't buy something there specifically because of the 11% rebate, but it's really so little trouble to send in the rebate portions of the receipts every month or so that I see very little reason not to. And then I get free tools! Nothing to complain about there.

Is there a way to see if they have them in stock?
Not sure about mobile, but on a computer below the picture and above the description, in the "pick up at store" box it should show how many are in-stock at your selected store with a link to inventory at nearby stores.

Much appreciated. I am on mobile right this sec and didn't see it. But I also miss stuff lol. So all I had to do was hit pick up at store. I read it as ship to store.
Go to menards.com, establish the store closest to you as your store, and it will say on the product page how many your store has. You can also select other stores in your area to see the stock in those locations.

That is correct. Menards good prices are always pick up in your local store. never a good price when shipping, and always a fee if they pick the item off the shelf and you pick it up.

2.80 processing fee, what's up with that
They want you to come into the store and shop.... Unlike many reputable stores, Menards lacks curbside pickup and if you want an item pulled and ready for pickup at the service desk inside the store, that is the fee for doing so. In April, Menards enacted a policy that refuses entry to anyone under 16 and if questionable, must produce an ID.... not certain if still in effect.
Besides the Covid deal, exactly why many elderly family members have switched to Lowes or Home Depot.
Other companies call them "handling" fees or just roll it into the shipping charges.
"Other companies?" .... Name one.... Lowes, Home Depot, etc. do not pad their bottom line with service charges and even better, they have curbside service. As far as shipping, Menards is still in the stone age--- Lowes and Home Depot both have free shipping on many items and they both have a 10% military discount that Menards does not.
And that easy rebate is BS when you get to major dollars.... I have $2700 worth that I am still arguing with the always anonymous idiots about.... They can't seem to understand that family members not in the same household qualify.

But this is really only a deal for B&M purchasers, as the S&P would eat up the savings and the rebate credit is good in-store only.
