It appears that they've changed the packaging and also the contents based on the reviews. This is what I usually get my toddler but not sure I'd risk it, especially with some reviews saying they're receiving counterfeit bottles 🤷 ♂️

You will never get counterfeit if the seller is Amazon. Always spend little more and get items shipped n sold by amazon.

I used J&J and generic no tears shampoos until trying a sample of this Dove product while traveling. The Dove is MUCH better on my little one's hair and skin, and he's not a high maintenance baby. It keeps them silky smooth longer and keeps his skin moist during dry weather. It's worth the higher price. Rep given.

The smile is the Amazon charity program.

Bummed that I JUST got a giant bottle of this! Tempted to buy again but the baby doesn't go through it that fast despite bathing almost daily. Good deal.

I don't think this is true any more. My understanding is they commingle inventory - meaning the authentic and counterfeit from various 3rd party sellers goes in the same SKU/"inventory bin" as the Sold and Shipped by Amazon stuff.

In other words, Amazon just isn't safe to buy from if you can't risk getting a counterfeit.

That's definitely not true. Amazon uses a shared bin system for both its own inventory and 3rd party. Unfortunately, this means that you could literally pay more for the amazon sold and shipped and get a fake product, and pay less for the counterfeit seller and get the real thing. It's kind of the main reason why a lot of people, including myself have slowly started shifting back to target/walmart.
