The ONE+ 18V High Performance version uses upgraded cells for increased power output and better efficiency under heavy loads. If your tools have the extra contacts to take advantage of the HP design, wait for deals on the HP batteries. If you need batteries for tools that cannot take advantage of the HP feature this is a good deal. When buying new tools see if you can pay a little extra for the HP tool. It makes that much of a difference when the tool is under load, even for a home gamer.

Some people don't realize most of ryobis lineup doesn't have the extra contacts for HP batteries so they think it makes all their tools better.

was at the HD this morning and looked at these. was tempted as my 2x 2ah batteries are wearing out. but hopefully can wait until a 2x 6ah for $99 deal or so.

A lot of times the capacity of the ones ordered from knock off brands have half or less the advertised capacity. They might be alight for around the house if you have a few but expect to be swapping batteries more frequently that the legit Ryobi ones.
