This is usually $198, so almost 60% savings on batteries.

Phone your local Home Depot that's the best information I can give you...

Per the Home Depot website's Q/A section, Ryobi's official response: "If you are asking if you can use the Electrostatic Sprayer to apply spray paint or powder coat, the answer is no. You can only use water based disinfectants in this sprayer."

Do you have any HP tools that actually have the extra contacts?
Have you ever used your brushless drill, recip, circ saw, etc and noticed it bogging down?
If your answer is yes to either then get the HP batteries.

Yes for sure. I still have a blue reciprocating saw that works great for yard work and tree pruning

Electrostatic sprayers work well with water based non viscous liquids. The concept is to positively charge the liquid so it is attracted to negatively charged surfaces. A high quality electrostatic sprayer can cost a few thousand dollars, so I would not expect much from this one.

Have to wonder who picked the production run number on those sprayers.. and if they still have a job.
This one comes with a free sprayer at the same price:

Too bad it is a single SKU. Could have hacked it otherwise. 🤷

There's no way someone pays $198 for this normally. Lol. Seems a little inflated to me. Even if they were the hp+ versions that'd still be rediculous. But good deal none the less

I think it's a good deal. I bought them last year at $139 and again this year at $139 under the SKU with the free sprayer.

Nice find! Those are the hp batteries too! I swear these last so much longer in the reciprocating saw
