Is this link correct, it's taking me only to the 2 4.0ah Battery screen.

I think you need this one:
https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../314003882

Then select the 2x4ah battery kit as your free gift.

This is a hackable deal, meaning you can return part of your itemized purchase to get the final price mentioned in the deal.

From the battery page that you got to, you should see an offer for a free gift. One of the options for the free gift is the tool set mentioned here (among other choices). Add what you want to your cart and you should see both items in cart, itemized to their respective prices. Purchase and return what you don't want

Thanks all. I didn't realize from the description what you had to do for those prices. Not that great of a deal overall. I bought 3 4ah HP batteries a couple of weeks ago from DTO for $35/each. Wish I had bought a couple more.

This smashes your deal. With hack, under $24 per batt and no ship.

Does it? These are not HP batteries that I can tell. And you have to deal with the hack

Edit: Not trying to argue. I think for $25/battery this is a good deal compared to buying them for $40/each without the hack.

DTO: 2x$35+tax+$15 ship = $90
HD: $47.5+tax = $50

(Now) realizing they may not be apples/apples (HP), I agree, starting to even out (although DTO's $15 shipping a bit steep). BTW, I'm not the one giving you thumbs down. You've made a good point (IMO).Thumbup

No worries. Not that it matters, but I was able to pick up mine from a location about 30 miles away, but I drive a tundra, so it was probably still $15, lol. This is a different p/n from DTO, but I think that is just for where they are sold and not different batteries.

My understanding is DTO blem's are typically a work around to not violate HD's exclusivity for selling new Ryobi products (hence the possible diff p/n's?). I've only received what appear to be new condition (sans the nicer packaging) from DTO.

Yes, that is my understanding as well.

It has been a while since I did the Milwaukee hack. Back then, I could have the item I wanted to keep shipped to my home, and have the item I didn't want for pickup in-store. Then, shortly after placing the order, I could just cancel the store pick-up item. When I try to check out, it displays a message saying both items have to be shipped to the same location. Has the hack changed? If I select both for home delivery, can I cancel that item I don't want before it ships, or do I have to receive it and then return it to the store?

I'm new to Ryobi deal hacking. What would one expect to pay for a 4ah HP battery instead of this regular one?

Choose two different stores and don't pick up at the other store. It will cancel

For those going this route, HD will annoy you for 30 days to pick up the item. After 30 days, they will cancel that item.
