Amazon gave me refunds for the cards even tho one was over a year old and I threw them in the trash.
Next memory cards I buy will be directly from Best Buy via price matching to Amazon.
That seems to be the best/safest solution.
First, if you are already a gopro subscriber, they give you an additional discount on the camera. I am not, so I couldn't see what the discount actually was.
When you check out, they break out the subscription cost (49.99) separately from the bundle cost and ask you to acknowledge it. At first, I was confused and thought they were adding this to the total cost, but when I checked out, it wasn't added. I did have to pay tax, and 2-day shipping was free.

At checkout, it says the camera is $404.99, the subscription is $49.99 and the SD card doesn't even show up. Does it update these numbers once you authorize the GoPro Subscription in Step 4? I find it odd that the SD card isn't showing up in the final checkout screen where I enter my info.
I was also trying to get a dual battery charger and it is showing $44.99 so it seems like it isn't giving me the subscription discount yet.
Thanks
You can add the dual battery charger after and it'll show up for $35.

Check your new gopro9 for stuck pixels. People find plenty!
To check set the camera to 4K/60fps, 100 to 400 ISO, turn off all motion smoothing, record in a dark room. Red, green, blue pixels that don't go away are the sensor flaws.
In my own opinion, with motion smoothing, gopro sends now cameras with sensors that otherwise would not pass. People find a lot of stuck pixels. Smoothing blurs out such pixels.
Check your camera.
I figured out that if I used a different email address it allowed the order to go through. I contacted GP support numerous times and they don't have a clue about their website glitch. Infuriating how incompetent they are.

Does anybody else read it differently? Here's what is says now:
For non-EU customers, there is no free trial period and no pro-rated refunds for cancelled subscriptions. In the event that you cancel your subscription before the end of the initial year term but keep your camera, you will continue to receive all the benefits of the GoPro Subscription for the full annual term of your subscription, but will not receive a refund for your cancelled subscription. For EU customers only, you will have a 14 day free trial period and may return your subscription, however if you return your subscription within this 14 day period you will fall below the threshold for eligibility for this offer and we will reduce any applicable refund owed to you by the full retail price of the camera and reserve the right to charge your payment method for any remaining balance owed to GoPro.
