*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

Is there a cap on how many lines you could have? I'm on the old tmo one plan with 8 existing lines. I recall for other free line deals if you have over eight lines then you have to switch to a different plan??
Yep, that exact scenario is detailed here on the subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/...r_account/

Quote from eko427 :
I don't think I'm eligible for the hookup code since I already have an account and have the 20% insider discount.
if you used a 20% from the last month and a half, correct. If you got hookup in december or back in 2017 you can.
Quote from the_ace :
Can someone please confirm that if I get an AT&T number just for the port in, can i port in as the free line and also get the iPhone11 Pro deal. TIA
Yep
Quote from jenhao :
Can I do add the free line in store, trade in my old IphoneX and get a new Iphone 11 Pro out the door at the same time?
if they have stock but you'd need to port in from competitor as well

Quote from FancyCaribou7837 :
If I am adding a line and buy this 5g phone, do I need a type 2 or 3 $200 code?

Thanks.

FRLTUL2LP for me which means NO GO as previous PROMOs. For the past 3-4-5 years; Tmobile did not qualify my plan on a single promotion.
I got the same code (plan as you). I was able to add the 3rd line free several years ago but not any of the recently "on us free line".. talked to customer service said that our plan is only maxed out at 3 lines. (sad face)

Just want to confirm that if I am adding a free line to my existing account on Fri. and buy the 5g phone for that new line, is a type 3 $200 code still the correct one?

Thanks.

As usual, the No Credit Check grandfathered SOC accounts (mine is 6NCFM2LN) are not eligible. I really should have just let them pull that darn credit at this point but that was 5 years ago.

What's the best existing plan that is similar to SC (we have 5 lines right now but could easily use 8) without losing too much?

tmob is owned by Deutsche telecom. likely not goint to get sold again due to regulatory issues. however they are doing everything they can to bankrupt att which attempted to aquire it in 2011!
Verizon Wireless: 119.9 million subscribers, $117b debt
T-Mobile US: 98.3 million (includes sprint) , $60b debt
AT&T Mobility: 92.9 million , $160b debt
How the hell that they get in debt when they charge customers so much money

If I'm on sprint should I transfer my lines over this week? I have one 25 a month kickstart and a 35 a month kickstart.
Sprint customers are not eligible for this promotion
