*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

Last time around you had to do it "today" i.e. before the free "4th line free" if you will promo started because you needed to be a current customer when the "4th line free" promo started. . .as the deal was free line on us for current customers OR free 3rd line on us for new customers adding 2 paid lines. Not both at the same time. Thus 2+1 free today, free 4th tomorrow. . .

The added bonus this time is it aligning with the 20% hookup for new account signups. . .

Its not to late to buy an ATT phone # off of ebay tonight and get this done online. . .
I'm confused as to why would I open up two lines to get one free (3rd line on us) and another line for free tomorrow.

Can't I just add a free line tomorrow.

And then the next time they do this promo to add another free line.

As opposed to paying for two lines and getting a couple freebies

Or am I missing something?

If you get a competent rep, he/she can re-assign the *paid line number* to the *free line number* and put the *paid line* in 'suspended mode with a temp number' while the transition occurs. Once done, he/she cancels the *paid line*

I've done this, but it took me nearly a month to finally get a rep who knew exactly how this done w/o screwing up your account.
Thats great information. After tomorrow deal I will have 4 paid and 4 free lines. I wonder if a competent rep can replace all paid for free. How many have you been able to switch

So my plan code is FRLTULF2 so its eligible. What is next step? Wait till tomorrow and then either go to store(not preferred) OR call 611. Thats it?? Or some other online option in account too?? I am sorry for rookie question....

Contact them on Twitter. They know what there doing and most of the time have the right answers to your questions instead of getting the run around.

Ok. Doesn't hurt to get the AT&T number tonight.
So I open a new account with T-Mobile tonight with the AT&T number then get two new T-Mobile numbers for the three lines? The only way this doesn't work for me personally is because I don't want to change my parents' #.
If I do get the new numbers, can I do the first suggestion at a later date - port out the numbers I want to keep then port back into the new T-Mobile account to replace the random new numbers?
Getting the "3rd line on us" with hookup discount is a good start if that's all I can do until another free line promotion comes along.
Thanks for all the input...
The only issue I can think of is that you can't open two T-Mobile accounts yourself so you'd have to get someone else (spouse?) to open the new T-Mobile account. Yes, you can port out your current T-Mobile numbers in the future and port those back in to the account you open tonight to replace the random numbers you get.

If I cancelled my last line on 6/24 - I need to wait until 9/24 to get a new line, right?

That definitely changes things for me - I will have to open this account myself. So it appears that my only option is to port out completely from T-Mobile, then port back in when the 3rd line on us is active.
Also, I am having trouble finding a hookup code so that might take me awhile as well. Anyone know how long those are active? I can try going into my local store and ask - not sure how productive that will be but I am not seeing how to obtain one otherwise. The Reddit threads I have seen are pretty sparse - I must not be finding the most recent and active one.
But I appreciate everyone's help. I'll be better prepared for next time...

Yes... phone promo won't affect rate plan promo
But how would we be doing it? Means going to Costco, transfer my tello line to T-Mobile and then asking T-Mobile to make it free? I am a bit confused since Costco doesn't have this promotion there as far as I know

Hmm my plan SOC isn't on the list. Is that the complete list or if I talk to them tomorrow my plan might also work?
Most likely it won't apply. If a rep says they can do it, be careful because you might get charged for the line afterwards regardless of what the rep tells you. It's usually a lot of hassle after the fact, but good luck.

My case: 4$ per month. Even though CSR told me I won't see 1$ increase in my bill.
