*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

Evidently, can't be a former Sprint customer that cancelled 2 months ago. Can't sign up for new TMO account online because it jumps to "looks like you're a Sprint customer. Please sign into Sprint"
Same thing with chat.
This is assuming you have cleared all cookies, browser sessions, history, etc., correct? Do they track you via billing address?

Funny thing is I tried to get that Sprint account reopened last month and they said not possible because bill was already zero'd out and "account cancelled"
Have you tried calling 866-806-1283? They could also possibly offer you $100-$150 service credit per line for going back to Sprint.

The way it works is the phone deal must run concurrent with the time you add the line so if you add a line on day 5 of free line deal running days 0-10 and the phone deal comes out day 9 you are eligible, however if you add the line days 9-10 and the phone deal is running days 11-15 you are not eligible, both must be concurrent.
So I can get the free line first and then go to the store another day to take advantage of the BOGO iPhone deals as long as both promo are going on at the same time?

Thanks and repped!

Thanks QC. Cookies/cache didn't matter because even the chat rep said the same thing based on last 4 of SSN. Said it was an account flag based on recent Sprint lol. It's been 2 months+, and not trying to use same phone #'s or even got to the point where we were talking about promos, so it shouldn't matter.

But yeah the cookies have been doing weird things last two months. If I tried to access TMO from normal Chrome I got 404, but Sprint worked fine. On incognito if I accessed S it tried to send me to TMO. Their system, post merger, isn't equipped for people who have both S and TMO accounts. Same person or same browser for that matter.

Might try that $100+ service credit to go back to Sprint for a bit for one last spin! Thanks

I'm still sorting crap from the 2017 free add a line, so I feel your pain Smilie as for picking your own number I think it gives you a selection of 4 or 5 numbers to pick from and as for activating the sim, the line itself takes a few hours to maybe a day to allow you to make changes online. Maybe it's different for different accounts or depends on whatever system changes that need to take effect. But, it's just a few more hours, so you'll be able to find all of that out soon enough...
Thanks for all the info. This really helps so much dishguy!
2017!?! oh man, that really blows. hopefully you get that resolved somehow. By chance do you use any of your free lines on a wearable? i know tmo has their own type of wearable line, but I'm wondering if there's a kid's wearable that makes the sim think it's a real phone and we don't need to buy a specific wearable line for basic call gps sms wearable.

Dang, I thought I had it bad. Took 6 weeks to sort out their most recent free line in June, and in the end, all they could do was add the 20% discount (I lost 2 free lines!).

Had 3, tried to add 1 more and ended up with 2. But due to how they calculate the discounts with this new plan, I am paying less than before even with fewer free lines. Go figure.

I guess it also took 3 months when I first converted from simple to one. Might as well go for this one again and see if I can break my record?

Damn, looks like SoC USCFM4 will never get a free line again.
What's new? SOC USCFM4L is eligible though and so hmmmm...??? I wonder what is the difference.

No free phone to combine with this free line offer and the iPhone 11 Pro deal also does not show up anymore. It looks like the deal for the phones ended last night.

Edit: Just checked Tmobile deals page and they removed the free line promo that was showing up on their home page and the deals page and I can now see the Iphone deal but as stated earlier looks to be in store only.

Go incognito mode. Free phone and iPhone trade in still there with Switch/port
