*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

Anyone knows if this free line meets the "add a line" requirement for their device deals? If yes, do I need to buy the phone at the same time as opening the new line?
"Yes" to first question, "No" to second question.

Just got the line. Now I have too many lines and not enough phones. Waiting for the Cricket phones to unlock...5 months to go.

I am asked to pay $30, $20 assisted support fee + $10 sim fee to get the offer by Tmobile. Did anyone else experience this?
Standard activation fee of $20 and $10+tax for SIM is par for the course.
You can add a line yourself from the APP and save the $20 unless a plan change is required,
in which case they should do it for you free of charge. They're crazy busy, do it yourself if you can.
You can provide your own SIM. I used eSIM on iPhone 11 this time around.
Last time, I didn't think about that and got one from an Apple store.

My new line and number is showing up in my account, but my monthly rate jumped $20/mo. I don't see the new free line promo in my discount list. Does that come later?

If you ordered a phone with the new line, does the line show up immediately or only after the new phone is shipped out?

I ordered the free line and a OnePlus 8 (50% off with a new line) at the same time a few hours ago but the line isn't showing in my account yet.

I didn't realize Costco had a $180 gift card. That's totally worth a shot to avoid that 2 year commitment. But it is still more work to get it...
Actually I think that ship has sailed for the Costco $180 rebate deal.

The rate will adjust when billing time comes. This was the same with the last free line in July. My new line is showing extra $20. It will go down to about $3.xx when the new bill shows up.

My free line was suspended after I did port in and availed iPhone pro promo, anyone in the same boat? The order for iPhone is still processing.
Yes I had that happen to new lines that I added at Costco in the past and then ordered new phones for those lines via upgrade on those lines.

TMO system automatically suspended the lines & t-force said something about it's done to prevent this lines from accuring charges before you get the phones. Once the phones shipped the lines were automatically restored but one of the lines I had t-force restore manually so that daughter could still use her current phone with TMO service coming from Sprint. Her new phone took a few days to arrive and so she had to use her old phone with T-Mobile service.

I wanted some Data Line for Ipads and Laptop but i have been getting these free Voice Line which just sits on my account not really being use. Gave some sims for family to use. Since im not using it, don't want to get another voice line paying the monthly tax

Does anyone know if the $250 credit applies if I finance a device on the new line?

Thanks in advance.

This is what I'm trying to do now and trying to figure out which is the best way to proceed. My plan qualifies for the free line and I'm also trying to take advantage of the BOGO deal for the Note using tmobile financing. I'm also a Costco member but dont know if I should go thru Tmobile online, Tmobile in store, or Costco. Any help would be appreciated
From what I understand the BOGO is costco only right now.

1st 14 days, can grab any phone promo that's active at the time you purchase phone.

Can still add a new line phone deal after the 14 days, but the phone deal had to be active the date your line was activated, AND still be active at the time of phone purchase.

For instance, I grabbed the last Free line on us promo on June 26th, but didn't need to get another phone at that time. Today that June free line could still get in on the bill credits Sammy s10/20/Note 10/20 BOGO deal. . .as that promo started June 5th, and is still active today.

But most phone promos don't go for 3+ months straight, so count on somewhere closer to the 14 days or a little bit longer.
