*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

I bought a one plus 8 5g. The phone shipped, but hasn't arrived yet, but I don't see the 50% discount reflected, it just says " Remaining balance $699.99 ($29.17/month)" and it also says "unknown device". will it show the 50% off once I activate the sim/phone?
Mine said that too. Once you have it all activated with the SIM card in there the phone will update in the system and shortly thereafter the bill credit will show for that line. That is the same thing mine did.

I am on Simple Choice 6SCFMPRM soc, reps tell me i am no eligible for an extra line.

i have the 2 for $70 with 2 free lines added plus an extra $20 line. $106 per month total after taxes. after corporate discount, i pay roughly $86 (20% off)

any plan i can switch to that i can get this another line for free where I keep the same amount of pay at the end of the month? thanks

I am thinking of porting from Visible as well, is there any issue in doing so? I got free Moto e6 from Visible and trade-in phone is on it's way to them.
Didn't have any issues yet. I sent in the trade-in phone as well, but haven't got any confirmation. The number ported fine and just got emails my visible account is closed.

Can I use hookup code to an existing account or when adding a new free line? Will it apply to entire account? How can i get the hookup code?

Wiki says free line and $250 GC can be stacked but is there a way to make use of "iPhone 11 on us" promo when porting over a new line to an existing account?

I activated the new line on Saturday afternoon and the discount is still not showing, despite getting an immediate text. How long is it going to take for it to show up?
Mine took about 31 hours to show on my account. Seems to be variable.

I have searched and some people touch on it, but if I want to avoid paying the $20 fee, I can do it by myself online? I am just scared because it shows that I will have a $20 recurring fee and nothing about the free line. I have confirmed through t-force and my SOC that I am eligible.

No, they have to add the line. In the mobile app chat, call, store, etc....

You can add the line online and they'll send you the sim. Once the sim is activated (right before it ships) the line will be added and you should get a text regarding the promotion if you are qualified. So yes you can do it online. Please do not mislead people.

Good point, my bad. Such misinformation is just absolutely life shattering.

Want to save more, do as I did and not do it online - ask and they remove the fees. So to make it slick, do not add it online...you might be able to have the fee credited later for more effort, and thus more time wasted.

You can do as juvinious suggests (add line online and Hope for all to work out), or do the smart thing like I did.
