After more lines added were added they kick me off the ONE plan and put me in Magenta plan, which mean I lose all my original add-on perks. I asked to be put back to ONE plan. Then I started getting kickback on my original free line again.
So it does happen.

I called T-Mobile but was denied.
As far as Hookup on free lines, what you say only applies to free lines outside of the base plan. Since 9/$270 is a lump sum/flat rate, Hookup comes off this entire amount.

Im on the 2/100 One promo and want to do what you did but not sure if I would be able to upgrade my plan to magenta or magenta plus, get the 3rd line free, then be able to add the 4th line free. All my chats with T-Mo say theres only 1 free line promo going on which is the 3rd line free.
