*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

Better yet, port in a Google Voice number? The port-out fee for GV is $3, I think....
GV ports don't qualify for that $250 offer. "port-in from AT&T, Verizon, US Cellular, Spectrum, Claro or Xfinity required"

I plan to open an account with 2 lines, porting over for the $250 BYOD. Does the 3rd line need to be done the same time as the other two? I assume the free line won't be eligible for $250 BYOD so I planned to add it at Costco to save sim cost + receive $100 Costco GC. Does that sound good?

My csr told me that I'd get the card in the mail and I didn't have to register anything else online for the 250 gc. Did anyone else get an answer like this? (I ordered the free line Sunday night, then ported the number over the phone today after it was activated to a SIM card I already had)
It's a virtual card, not a mailed card. If you visit the link and go through the process of submitting the info (once port is complete), you'll be asked which number on the account you want to have the link sent to that can be used to access the virtual card.

That's the one ... re-lux. Porting was pretty painless and easy. You'll tell them the existing phone # you want to replace and they'll ask for the new phone #, account #, and pin. My port happened within 5 minutes. After you do the port, go register for the $250.
Woohoo it worked! Got the number, called and did the port. Now I'm going to submit the promo for the gift card. Can't thank you enough!

Thanks! I'll have to work with T-Force on that - still no notation for the "2020 Line On Us 2" in my plan details, but new line is active and the number from AT&T is already ported over ...
I got another "congrats" text from T-Mobile today, and now when I check my "Plan Details" I finally see the "2020 Line On Us 2" promotion! So now it's time to file the $250 MC Rebate ...

If you're referring to the $250 prepaid MC, go submit rebate online at https://promotions.t-mobile.com/ with promo code 2020BYOD1 per the instructions. That promotion is for a virtual prepaid Mastercard so maybe your CSR is thinking something else. Would be amazing if you also got a $250 gift card mailed to you.

It's in review. Looking forward to something. But glad for the free lines just the same.

Was on Magenta plan with 4 paid lines for $140 (3rd line free). After getting the last 2 free-line promos, I am now at 6 lines for $140. I've grabbed the promos, but really only need 4 lines for the family and just put the lines on old spare phones.

My question is: since I only really need 4 lines, would it be better to have my SO sign up for a new account with the Insider 20% discount, port in 2 lines from ATT (eBay) w/ $250 promo, get the 3rd line free promo (if that's still running), then hop on the current free line promo?

Just wondering if that is a viable option to bring me down to 2 paid lines and 2 free lines? Thanks.

Not viable. Any Magenta plans starting after 9/18 will only net 1 free line. T-Mobile will say 3rd line free will be the same as 'free line on us' after 9/18.

I just wanted the free line. I'm on SOC Code FRLTUL4LP and added my third free line without issues via text to Customer Care. It was pretty straightforward and double stressed and confirmed there's no change in my plan.
