*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

TForce is the customer service on Twitter or on Facebook Messenger. On Twitter, search for "T-Mobile Help" and click on envelope to direct message your case. TForce on Twitter has graveyard shift people but they may take a while to respond if they multitask multiple cases at once.

Thank you. I do not use twitter but I do use facebook. So I can also contact TForce on the T Mobile Facebook page by messaging there? Thank you.

I got same additional bill.

How long did it take to apply the 2020 LINE ON US2 to your plan? I got my iPhone today, but I don't see the promotion in my plan.
24-48h is what it takes for most accounts. 48h for me.

Dont feel bad. I posted here that I got the deal and then after 2 days checked my account and a FAR inferior promo was on the account. Had to spend another hour on chat getting a different rep to fix and took tons of screenshots. So, everyone be careful if you did it over the phone. Check your lines and promos to be sure the correct one was applied!
Yep, always be careful. I had a cluster&**% a few years back with some port-ins and someone messed up my main number, I was without phone service for 2-3 days until things were straightened out by "executive escalation" team and the account was mostly back to where it was. I lost some free lines in between as well, some through my own stupidity. That said, there were some great promos over the years, and I did not have any of these promos during my 10 years with ATT. Like buy a tracfone and turn it into an iPhone 6 and upgrade to 6S a month later?

Now, when it says your SOC is not part of it and you believe some random chat agent they will make a miracle happen for you, be my guest, but understand you are taking a risk.

Of course it hurts when you think you have a decent deal and others are able to add extra seasoning to dishes where you are shut down repeatedly, that sucks and I wish they would be consistent and train folks to better to have one voice. That said, there are always pros on the inside who know how to use a system better. But how much is your time worth nagging them again and again?

I wish for a wearable line promo or a tablet line, and I hope you guys will all soon move to 5G so LTE frees up again. Big Grin

Fyi. Went to my local t mobile store to add a line. Had my own phone. Got charged $10 for the sim and $20 for "assisted visit". All they did was hand me a sim. Do this on line if you can

I just had a T-force CSR port in a number into my primary line instead of the New Line. Of course I did not know until I got a TXT saying that my number changed. Luckily, I got back to T-force right away, and they were able to bring my old number back within a few hours.

I have T-Mobile Essentials with 4 lines. I also got an email saying that I'm eligible for this promo. Also my SOC code is there in the code list here.

I had a line cancelled back in June , reactivated it in August and ported out to cricket. Can I bring that line back into T-Mobile with this line on us? I am bringing this back so that I can be ready for the November offers. Also can I do this in Costco or it has to be online?
I went through the thread and I see that this can be done in Costco.

As mentioned , I am adding this free line to port-back-in a number into T-Mobile which I ported-out a few weeks ago. Is this doable? I'm okay even if I don't get the $100 Costco.

The reason I'm porting this number back is to be sure I'm ready for the future deals which has the terms "If you have cancelled voice lines in past 90 days, reactivate them first."

As this deal ends today , if anyone can get back to me on this , it would be helpful.

I had an unauthorized port that someone stole my number and ported out. I caught it within 30mins and had the number ported back to T-Mobile. However, i I had lost my grandfather $10 plan with unlimited data since that account only had 1 line on it. T-Mobile couldn't give me back to that plan!!!

Thanks a lot for the information.

Do you have the 2017 This One's on Us promo?

From what I've seen so far, it appears all the people I've spoken to that have it are put on FRLTULFM9. Those without it seem to be put on TIULFM9.

My guess is that FRLTULFM9 is the This Ones on Us compatible version, while TIULFM9 is the non-compatible version.

I do see your rep mentioned Kickback. It's also possible that's the case, although FRLTULFM9 was discontinued in April 2017, and Kickback wasn't abandoned until a year later. So if I had to guess, it's related to This One's on Us and not Kickback.
FRLTULFM9 Is my soc with all those promos.

Dang - my plan does not qualify: ZBUNL13

It DOES qualify for ADD A PAID LINE get one free. There are several plans with an ASTERISK that require this...those without should, and I believe that is the list on the main post.

Looks like all the plans you have to ADD a line first, are 13+ lines.
