How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

Tmobile representatives are saying a plan and apply different plans in account. This happened me twice. I got a Samsung galaxy tab as part of promotion. Representatives told me that it comes with $10 data plan. But when I received the tab and I checked in account it showing $20 in bill. When I checked with customer care they say they they dont have that $10 plan only this is $20. Not sure how they tell this before activating. Also as part of promotional add free line i added in my account with free credit of A11 phone. I see this phone emi also has been added in bill. When called them they say it does not have free phone. How to proceed here

Hey! Any advice would be appreciated.
I bought a phone at half off with the free add a line. The issue is that I don't really like the phone and would like to return it. Is there any way I can still get an add a line promotion on a different phone? Or am I out of luck

Wanted to take advantage of the iPhone Pro on us promo today but apparently it expired on the 24th as well and then restarted (same promo, new promo period) with a new promo period on the 25th. My line activated on the 22nd cannot be combined with the current promo that started on the 25th. So, now I would need to do yet another line and yet another port in. Bummer.

I did not have a trade-in phone ready though so needed to wait for it to arrive. Well, let's see what we can turn that into then when new iPhones are launched. Still, that would have been a really slick deal.

I left this until the last minute and wasn't successful. Rep said my plan, ZTIULFM9, with 9 lines was not eligible and they would have to convert my plan to Magenta (from Tmobile ONE) and it was too late in the evening for me to go through and compare the differences between the two plans. But I'm curious if anyone with knowledge can confirm what the rep was saying. I have to write to TMobile anyway as it seems that they never added the free line from back in July either, which I only got talked in to because I called about missing rebates, which also didn't get resolved. If I was given wrong info on this most recent promo I'd like to mention that too.

this sort of happened to me also. I got the free line but didn't ask for any data (just wanted the free option) but when the line activated, I saw it had a 6GB plan added on for $15/month. It finally got resolved -- they put in 2.5GB but after 3 calls I got the 4GB, same as my other lines

I wonder if the (silent) upsell from the reps is cuz they have to meet a quota for add-ons. Works the same in any retail setting, they upsell to meet the quota but easily remove it when someone complains

I remember that when it was time to set up the data on my new line (did this in store), the 'standard' option (4GB - that's what all my other lines have) was not even available to be selected. I was puzzled about that, and so was the CSR but we chose a third option ("Web Guard - $0) in order to move forward and continue setting up the line. That's why I initially had no data on my line. Had to contact customer service and fortunately, one chat was enough to resolve it (and match the data on the new line to what's currently on the remaining nine).
