Are we talking about the same A14? It was a very disappointing evolution from what I heard (even lost to snapdragon 865 in multi-core benchmark). I think you are about 2 years behind in terms of updating your preconceived notions.

We've already got two phones on Unlimited. Not the super ultra version, but still unlimited. We use a lot of data.

iPhone performance is not just due to the cpu, but their OS software optimization is second to none, their requirements for the app developers to optimize is pretty stringent too. Android is super bloated just look at Chrome app it just needs it own cpu.

Doubt it. Apple comes up with A14 and optimized OS on the iPhone 12, which will keep that performance competition active.
And...this is >$1000 phone, at a time when new financial year starts at many corporations, with some solid budget cuts, especially for tech expenses. Phones pricing will need to collapse in the new fiscal reality of year 2021 Smilie. This phone has some more depreciation to go.

🤣 lol. The note 20 and note 20 ultra are indeed at iphone levels of cpu performance.

You may lose some fluidity but that has nothing to do with cpu power or ram in the case of iPhone vs note 20, and everything to do with open source vs closed.
