That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

Where are people buying cheap phones to use with this? Want to do more than just 1 line but I only have one phone laying around that isn't already in use by me

1. Are you folks calling sales line and getting the orders in? I think the agent will waive $20 activation when you call.
What is the preferred method?
2. t-force confirmed the cricket numbers qualify as they show up as att. It takes a long time for t-force to respond over fb messenger.. but got them verify each cricket number to qualify.

Here is the proof which I saved for cricket number..

"Xxxxxxxxx is also an ATT number, so we're 3 for 4 so far Gxxxxx, that's magnificent! Do you have the 4th number for me so I can check it's eligibility and then have you proceed by completing the activation link above? ^kb""

"BINGO! All 4 lines are with ATT and qualify for the $250 BYOD Port-in Rebate as long as they all have compatible devices with our network. Did you already run the 4 device IMEIs through the compatibility checker here: https://www.t-mobile.com/resource...-own-phone

Also, when you're ready to take the next step, please fill out the activation link above so we can run credit and get you all set up! ^KB"

Even the tele sales agent confirmed that numbers under att (it's MVNOs) would qualify. Do at your own risk.

Plethora of pre-owned, unlocked, inexpensive phones out there. Look on OfferUp and Craigslist.

Does anybody know what to do if you're in the middle of sprint and tmobile?
I closed Sprint about 60 days ago and when I try tmobile offer they say I already have Sprint account and when I try Sprint byod they say they don't have my account on file and apply with Tmobile.
I am kinda stuck in a limbo here. Any ideas?

When did you cancel your Sprint account? There gonna be a time limit on it so you can qualify again, right?

I also had my sprint account no credit check account closed 60+ days ago. i tried to do it online after I got 20% hookup code. The rep told me same thing that you were sprint customer and you need to go in store to do it. I am going in store today have an appointment.

Just now I am done with T-M chat support. Initially soft pull and if they need to verify identity, it will be hard pull. I shared my Social# and during soft pull, they couldn't confirm my identity. She asked my permission for hard pull and after I said yes, she ran the report and came up with sad news.

So I'm getting a message from my systems showing you have or have had a sprint account recently No worries this didn't hit your credit at all but we will need to send ya in store for a quote to migrate that over. Let me get ya an appointment going Do you have preferd time you'd like to head in?

Reason for rejection:

So because of the merger you technically were already a customer of our even though you were with sprint before it happened. This means that some of your info is already in the systems so they have to do it store. I can try and find you an appointment today so we can get that done and I'll leave them a note so you aren't starting from scratch.

Final words - Sprint customer are not able to port in through online. It will require store visit but success from store is highly YMMV.

Costco $100 offer is not stackable with this offer. Thanks Grouchy16 for Costco confirmation.

I'm hoping for the same thing just ported in my wife and my phones a week ago and added a 3rd line. Traded in an iPhone 8 to get the 11 pro for free and got $200 off the iPhone SE. T-Mobile rep also got me a 20% Corp discount. Just submitted my rebate for the two lines. Will be amazing if I get $500 promo.

So... please correct me if I'm wrong! I've been thru the thread and am looking to port-out the Visible number I got from the cheap Moto e6 deal (needed short term backup phone).

1) This phone should be eligible for the promo (as Visible is VZW)
2) Since this is only a single line, the cheapest plans should be $60 + tax/fees, unless I can come up with an insider code.
3) The rebate takes 6-8 weeks to process, so will need to keep this phone active to 2 or three months, costing $120 - 180 plus taxes/fees. So profit will be in $50-100 range.
4) Cancel phone.

FWIW, - this could result in a hard pull. You may hear conflicting things and that is because everyone's situation is different. I was told there is a soft pull during pre-qualification. Other people will need to go through a hard pull after that - and there is disclosure beforehand (supposedly). The T-Mobile rep told me fewer people have to go all the way with a hard pull.

None of the Credit Cards will give you more than $300 joining bonus (especially Zero Annual fees)......If you know any card that gives more than that, do let everyone know your analysis.

I would go for this, even if its Hard check, as profit is more than $500.......

Xfinity # should work. It says so much right there in the OP:

Qualifying credit, device, service, and port-in from AT&T, Verizon, US Cellular, Claro, Spectrum, or Xfinity required

Real question is will TMO throw up a flag for trying to start an account because of recently closed Sprint account. I closed mine on Aug 8th and it wouldn't let me start TMO account online or in chat. "Looks like you're a sprint customer. Please login to Sprint" Anyways the chat rep said if I called in or went into store it could be resolved. But was trying to do it the night before current TMO free line on us promo started on Friday, and thus missed out on the double dip free lines (2 free + 2 Paid) with 20% hookup as well. . .

The question is will they consider him to be a new customer. I am in the same boat hence waiting for Tuxedo1 to visit the store and see how it goes
