That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

From reading the terms and conditions, it doesn't say that prepaid is excluded. So it seems as though if you activate on ANY plan the $250 promotion applies.

Can anyone confirm this?

But will you get the 1 line free and have the total come out to 140 for 4 lines? Interested to know.
Well I had code for hookup 20% and I just got confirmation of approval says within 1-2 billing cycle. I am not sure it will be 140 or 112 for 4 lines when its generated. I am just going to go tomorrow get 2 sim cards will port home with online tforce.

Does BYOD means I can use a phone and take out SIM card that is another line in my account and put in the new SIM card for the new free line that I just added? Or it has to be totally new phone that is not used by any other line in my account?

Once you submit the rebate for the $250/ported line, how long do you need to keep the line or number? I plan to COR 3 old numbers into new account and then maybe remove the new/ported numbers...

BYOD meaning you don't buy/get device from them, that's all; nothing less, nothing more! You can get the SIM, activate it and put it in drawer, they won't care.

For those coming from Sprint >> ATT >> T-mobile, I have one such number with ATT right now. When I tried to process hook-up discount using that number, it took me to a login page with url starting from "fed.sprint.com".

I assume it implies those numbers will not be eligible as port-in even though they come from ATT.
I have the same issue. I assume this means we have to acquire some numbers elsewhere or did you figure out a way around this?

I did the previous T-mo BYOD $200 Deal from April to June this year and it was as easy as it could be. The link to claim the 4 GCs were texted to each phone exactly 30 days after activation. I claimed the GCs and transferred the balance to my bank account overnight with no fees. Cancelled the account about 10 days later. About 4 weeks after the billing period ended, T-mo sent me a partial refund via a debit card.

Compared to the Sprint and AT&T deals that I did this year, the T-mo deal was the smoothest.
Hello and sorry to bother you. It seems it took you about a month from when you did the deal to when you got the GC and then you cancelled it all out after 10 days? I'm planing to stay, but instead will try to change of ownership from my 3 lines from my old account to my wife's new account (also doing the 20% hookup). If yours took about a month? Then I'd have to pay for 7 lines for a month and then possibly drop out the 4 "ported" lines? In the end, I'll have 20% hookup with 3 lines in Magenta for $96/mo? Sounds about right?

If you have an account I don't think it would be issue. I also got the $20 support fee Adjusted just now. So I think going instore for offer is better especially if you were Sprint customer. If you are worried of porting or promo offer ending.

EDIT: Forget about activating at Costco as it's excluded from $250 BYOD eligibility.

Again, if you have the needed # of Sims my first choice would be T-Force on FB messenger. I added the current free line deal this method last night and all is squared away already.
Do you think FB messenger would work if you don't have an account already with T-Mobile? My thought is that FB messenger only works for adding a line.
