That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

Sorry, I don't know anything about the hook up deal, and there's no guarantee that T-mo will send the GC codes as quickly this time as they did last time. The previous GCs were issued by Sunrise Bank, and the GCs for this deal are issued by MetaBank. Things won't necessarily work the same way.
Well I don't know why while submitting the promo it says Sunrise bank on offer page it says Metabank. Also, While submitting it says you will receive an SMS with the link to redeem. It is similar to what you did in April I guess. It is conflicting scenario.
I believe the sprint will have Metabank and Tmobile will do Sunrise. Since the have similar promos.

i am on simple choice, 8 lines already.
anyone doing these simply as a moneymarker and cancel it in a year. nothing to lose right?
just $10 for port in on ebay and $10 sim card fee.

$250 rebate
$120 taxes + fees
net= $130 per line.
Will work absolutely. But why cancel the lines after a year? You can cancel them right after you get your rebate card. So at least 450 moneymaker.
Or combine this with the free line...

current offer SPRINT T&C:

Allow 6-8 weeks from fulfillment of offer requirements. Max 4/account. May not be combined with some offers or discounts (e.g., Carrier Freedom).

VS. the March Sprint $300 BYOD T&C (without TMO influence):

Terms and conditions apply. Other Terms: Offer and coverage n ot available everywhere or for all phones/networks. Accounts that cancel lines within 30 days of activating on promo pricing may void savings. May not be combined with other offers. Restrictions apply. See store or sprint.com for details. ~CPR~ 2020 Sprint. All rights reserved. Sprint and the logo are trademarks of Sprint. Other marks are the property of their respective owners.

Current Sprint promo with "TMO effect" rules are underlined in first T&C above.
Notice the TMO effect of now vs then? Faster rebate turnaround, I like. Same Metabank (guessing under contract as long as Sprint name is used). Everything else was better in old promo terms. . .
Also notice the other TMO effects that might not even apply to Sprint accounts like "excludes Carrier Freedom"

OR possible unmentioned exclusions vs last time, like buying full priced phone is ok and still considered BYOD on March deal, but nothing on current. . .

I thought I can't cancel any lines within a year of getting the free line. That's why I planned to keep the other 3 lines for a year as well.

Could you please show me how to get the code, I looked at Reddit, but couldn't find a way to get the code. Thanks a lot. PM me if you like.
Some one posted like 15 or more Type 1 codes at 5pm PST and I just happened to scan the thread and saw the codes and was able to claim one. I suggest you check out the thread and ask there instead of here. I believe the same person is posting codes throughour the day. Sort by new so the latest posts show up first

So what's the minimum to get in on this if I'm not interested in using TMO for service?

I have a spare number at Visible from the E6 trade-in deal and can port that out. Anyone know if that would qualify? What's the cheapest plan I can get away with - and how long do I have to keep it - to get the $250 GC?

I'm not familiar with Simple choice. Does its plan qualify for the $250 deal? Even if it does, there's a max of four $250 GCs per account.

Yes, for the hookup registered # (line #1), the free 3rd line, if you started all this before the 18th then also the additional free line, and any line you want to get the BYOD $250 rebate from etc.

sub reddit megathread from last time hookup was active last December:https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/...ars_to_be/ [reddit.com]

Plus Jman100's thread announcing this round of hookups (read wiki): https://slickdeals.net/f/14234414-at-t-and-verizon-customers-t-mobile-s-20-insider-hookup-is-back-an...

read that wiki, but keep in mind that is only to qualify for hookup. If you want hookup plus $250 BYOD rebates, make all of the 1st 3 plus any BYOD lines 90 days plus out.

And JMAN100's current sub reddit hookup megathread, and where to get hookup code if needed. If you haven't caught on, JMAN is a dedicated TMO loyalist, and employee, with priceless insider info, and put great effort in this area. . .

https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/..._addaline/ [reddit.com]

Click on the Blue "DISCORD" logo on the right side of above reddit page to get you towards a Hookup code, all 3 types. . .he's even setup a ticket pull system, like at a deli, so no fighting over codes, nor a loaf of marble rye, lol
with the 20% hookup plan, I plan to port 4 numbers, then transfer old lines to it. When can I safely remove the ported 4 numbers and still be able to keep the 3rd line free?

Very concerned about where it says "If you have cancelled voice lines in past 90 days, reactivate them first." Does that mean if I had 4 lines, ported out 2 at end of bill cycle, then starting new bill cycle add 2 BYOD lines I'm disqualified? Would I have to bring back those 2 lines that I wanted to kill off?

Yesterday, I already took advantage of the free line promotion. Is it too late to port-in a number and replace with the free line and get $250?
You should be OK but I would do it ASAP via Messenger or Twitter with a T-Mobile rep so you have it all in writing in case you are denied the rebate. That way, if any issues were to arise, you can refer back to the chat conversation, and they will likely credit your account $250.

I would ask the rep something like "I just now saw the 2020BYOD1 promotion and would like to take advantage of that offer by porting my AT&T number to the new line I added yesterday. Can you help me with that so I qualify for the 2020BYOD1 rebate on that line? Thanks."

A T-mo rep called me yesterday after I placed my order, to read off a bunch of legal agreements and push some additional sales. She asked if my devices are paid off, and I said Yes. She said "OK. If you still owe money on them, we have the Keep and Switch program to help pay for them, but you can't get the $250 if you do the Keep and Switch".

Noted, I'll do it.
What is the best way to port-in a number? I remember people used to sell numbers on eBay for porting purposes.
What is the easiest and cheapest way to do it now>
