That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

Sure. As long as the acct # and PIN is correct, T-mo will port in the number. It's just like you've joined their family plan. There's no name assigned to each individual line.
Does it matter how long the lines have been away from Sprint though??

Porting = Cancellation. It's easier to port then you don't have to deal w/ rep shaming you I guess.

If you add any new line w/ associated discounts that you want to keep (50% BOGO, EIP, free line on us, etc.) then your new deadline resets for 1 year (except for a really old Friends and Family on Us Promo where no lines can be ever canceled allegedly ever) for ALL lines exist at the time when that new line was added. So yes, once again, ALL lines exist at the time you add that new line (before March 1) resets to the new 1 year date to March 1, 2022. Plus keep in mind any lines canceled w/i 90D will need to be added back too!
I made the distinction between cancellation and port out bcoz someone in the Sprint version of this promo thread spoke to cust service. The cust service said if lines were cancelled (not ported out), she can reactivate those lines and then the person can add new lines for the promo.

I just logged in to my old Sprint BYOD account, though I ported out all lines for months , my account and personal info are still there, does this cause conflicts for this Tmobile promo ? Thanks.

It might because an online rep could not create my account for having an old sprint account which is all closed when called.

DP:
I was planning to do these offers.
1) $250 rebate
2) Free line
3) Buy oneplus 8 for 50% off, therefore for $350
4) Get $200 rebate for buying 5G phones.

But as some others have suggested, I was turned down to be able to mix two types of offers.
I have to choose either $250 rebate (because it requires BYOD) OR oneplus 50% off discount (because buying a phone while adding a line is the opposite of BYOD).

So now I have to decide between:
Free line + $250 rebate
OR
Free line + $150 for oneplus (50% off + $200 rebate)

I'm thinking to go one way of the two and then try my luck at the second.
So like, add a free line, do BYOD $250 rebate. Then may be get in touch with customer care and say hey I just added a line, can I also get oneplus at 50% off. Most likely they may let me.

Any thoughts?

Thanks a lot. This is annoying. So calling them will close the account?

so I'm ready to start my port of VZN number, is there anything i need to do before starting the port? I've registered the 20% Hookup code. It looks like Keep & Switch is just a rebate after the fact - don't need to pre-register for it.

But what about this $250 BYOD port? Is that also something I just submit afterwards?

I have ATT lines but were previously on Sprint and I am unable to qualify so can a different household member sign up and use those ATT lines under their name and still qualify for the rebates?

I would do it and be comfortable that it would all be ok. The key is those numbers are being ported in by a new account holder. If the same account holder (tracked by SSN) tried to port the numbers back in, I believe that's when the whole 90 day wait comes into play. (Just my opinion based on quick google research and what makes common sense.)

Once the numbers are ported (which is also another way to cancel) the lines usually cannot be retrieved by Tmobile. So that's what the rep is trying to say. For our discussion reg "no canceled lines 90D prior" ported out or canceled lines via reps = "cancelled lines 90D prior"

Say you ported and kept those numbers yourself then yes you can port them back in and reinstate those lines to get your free line on us before 3/1/2021. Now, if you no longer keep those ported numbers for whatever reason, then you cannot even do the free line on us before 3/1/2021 as the lines cannot be reinstated by Tmobile.

When you call to cancel a line instead of port out, Tmobile keeps the numbers for at least 90D before recycling it into the system, in case customers want to reinstate the line.

My account has this "missing primary account holder" alert, saying online services are limited due to that. When I click "complete account setup", it just leads me to the home page, nowhere I can find to set primary holder. Am I missing anything?

Got the T-mobile email with my assigned phone numbers, so I am about to port in. Can I port in through chat, or do I have to call in?

I bought some ATT numbers, got my hookup code, and just tried signing up for a new account on tmo.com but unfortunately it finds my old Sprint account which was closed just over 2 months ago. So I just wanted to verify the next steps...

1. Go to a store and tell them I need an account set up for 1 line, Magenta. Tell them about being on Sprint before and that I want a new Tmo account. On this step, do I give port info at the store or do that later online?

2. Then go home and do the port if didnt do it in step 1. Then add 3 more lines to my account. Total should be $140 month minus hookup but that wont show at checkout.

3. When sims arrive, activate and port the 3 remaining lines.

Please let me know if any of this is wrong, need to get it done tmw. Thanks!
