TMo pushing hard to close out Q3 with big numbers.

That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

You can do the port in once your new line is assigned a phone #. There's no need to have the physical sim card in your possession; it plays no role in the port-in process.
Without the physical SIMs, how do you know which number goes with which SIM?

DP:
I was planning to do these offers.
1) $250 rebate
2) Free line
3) Buy oneplus 8 for 50% off, therefore for $350
4) Get $200 rebate for buying 5G phones.

But as some others have suggested, I was turned down to be able to mix two types of offers.
I have to choose either $250 rebate (because it requires BYOD) OR oneplus 50% off discount (because buying a phone while adding a line is the opposite of BYOD).

So now I have to decide between:
Free line + $250 rebate
OR
Free line + $150 for oneplus (50% off + $200 rebate)

I'm thinking to go one way of the two and then try my luck at the second.
So like, add a free line, do BYOD $250 rebate. Then may be get in touch with customer care and say hey I just added a line, can I also get oneplus at 50% off. Most likely they may let me.

Any thoughts?
Add 5 lines to the acct. 4 for the 250 rebate and one for 50% plus 200 rebate.

I bought some ATT numbers, got my hookup code, and just tried signing up for a new account on tmo.com but unfortunately it finds my old Sprint account which was closed just over 2 months ago. So I just wanted to verify the next steps...

1. Go to a store and tell them I need an account set up for 1 line, Magenta. Tell them about being on Sprint before and that I want a new Tmo account. On this step, do I give port info at the store or do that later online?

2. Then go home and do the port if didnt do it in step 1. Then add 3 more lines to my account. Total should be $140 month minus hookup but that wont show at checkout.

3. When sims arrive, activate and port the 3 remaining lines.

Please let me know if any of this is wrong, need to get it done tmw. Thanks!
sign up using a different acct holder. maybe a better option

I am a current sprint customer with 5 lines active. I pay approximately $125 for all 5 lines. What are my best options for me to get this offer with 4 of my sprint lines?
Just add 4 new lines with port-in number. Make sure you have devices and sim cards. Submit the rebate at sprintpromotionshub.com

you won't know that anyways. TMO just ships the sims in a packet with no identification of the phone number. So, you have to put every sim in a device and do some test to identify the phone number associated with the sim

Hi Guys - Hoping you can help. From the BYOD page, I ordered 4 sim cards. There's a promo code field at checkout, but I received an error message when I entered "2020BYOD1". Does the promo code have to be entered at the time of the sim card order? When ordering sim cards, the site doesn't even ask which numbers you're porting? Something seems strange
You enter the promo here: https://promotions.t-mobile.com/. It's done after you're done with the order and number port-in.

This process is different from my previous T-mo BYOD deal in April this year. With that deal, they shipped me 4 BYOD SIMs. I then called Customer Care. For each number, the rep asked: the SIM #, the phone number I want assigned to it, previous acct#, PIN. She also asked me which number I wanted to designate as the account owner.

My 4 SIMs are to be delivered today. I'll see if I can figure out how to do the activation/porting by myself. If not, I'll call or chat with a rep.

I don't think there is a way to do the porting by yourself. You have to talk to a rep.

From what I was told by a sales rep who called me, and posts in this thread: once you've received the SIMs, put them into each phone, use one phone to call 611 and select the option to activate/port, and provide the info it asks for. The rep said I can activate/port all lines during one call.

when i did the tmobile mworks deal late in 2019, they shipped me the sims in a packet with no labeling. Note: Tmobile sends preactivated lines with temp nos. So each sim is already preactivated with some temp no. I had to insert each sim in a device, and identify what temp no was associated with that sim. Then I called tmo to port "my-no-1" for "temp-no-1".

Yes, you will call to port only, not activate. As far as I know, the lines are already active when you receive the sim (with some temp no).
You would have already received an email from tmobile with the listing of the 4 temp nos.

What phones are you guys using? By BYOD does it mean we can't use T-Mobile phones? Is Sprint locked phone recognized as T-Mobile phone?

Yes, I got the email with the temp numbers yesterday. But I didn't start the porting process thinking I would have to provide the SIM number for each line. Anyway, I'll the porting when I receive the SIMs today. I'm in no hurry because I'm using new Ebay numbers, and my AT&T numbers were already ported out to H2O to die.
