That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

I am going to keep and switch from att to tmobile today. The rep said $450 for device and $250 byod can be stacked up. Should i just sign up online or go through a rep? I believe they charge $20 per line assist fee. Please advise.

I asked on Reddit for a code this morning and haven't got anything. Somebody suggested opening Discord account/ticket and get it sooner. I tried to create a Discord account and although I worked in IT for 35 years I couldn't wrap my head around its site structure. Social Networking sites are not my thing. Probably too late for me to use a hookup code anyway because I already created my account and ported in. The hookup code sounds like the Sprint referral concept, you have to pre-register before opening/activating your account.
Yeah. Too late. You have to pre-register it before the account creation.

i did all the steps (included verified email), my ticket submitted on 9-22, but no reply yet...

Why don't you just refresh the thread on Reddit? Codes are posted there for grabs about three to four times per day. As long as you are able to grab one as soon as they are posted, you don't need to wait for the code from Discord.
you can give this a try (same as Szyszka's suggestion)
1. go to this [reddit.com] reddit thread
2. scroll down a little bit and click on View Entire Discussion button to view all the posts
3. look for the posts from the user AnalyticalAries. he/she has been posting different types of codes every few hours. try with Type 1 codes for 20% off
4. if the codes from most recent posts doesn't work, scroll down further and find the posts from a few hours earlier and so on.. i was able to find 2 codes within 5 mins of searching

Seems like you have 14 days to submit Hookup 20% after activating service; as well as 14 days from submitting hookup to activate service, no?

i pre-registered and opened an account and ported-in. when i asked the rep when the 20% will be applied, rep initially said i need to register AFTER opening an account.. a bit later he confirmed that the 20% will be applied soon, based on the pre-registration

looks like what needgeech said is right, even though the terms say register and open account.. it could work both ways.. i just verified that you can register with a phone number that is already on a T-Mobile account

I called Sprint credit dept and they said my SSN was not tied to the Sprint acct (No CC). She said the flag was coming up bcoz we are trying to open another account within 90 days of closing the previous one. I haven't heard anyone here who reported this issue even when they had closed the acct more than 90 days ago.
Were you eventually able to open it?

huh? how do you do that? does the last one you port in stay the only one active?
I mean I'm having the confirmation text when the gift cards become available all come to the same number. I still had to register each phone number for the gift card.

Port out/ cancelled all ruled out. Only social matters a lot.

Thanks for the great info, repped. Any idea on Non-Credit Check accounts?
My family member's non-credit check sprint account was closed(cancelled lines) around end of July. We were able to open a tmobile account over the phone without any problem.

agree with Tuxedo, social is what matters.

I found sims and they're still valid, but didn't find an option to do it online. Can someone suggest me how can I do online using the sim OR do I need to call 1-800 ?
Thanks

If you don't want to go to the store, you can try calling the Sprint Credit Dept 800-639-6116 and ask for the supervisor, making sure that they don't transfer you to T-Mobile, and ask them to completely close out and remove your Sprint account, including your SSN. Explain to them that they need to do this so that you can open a T-Mobile account. Sprint keeps inactive accounts on file for up to 10 years so that they can continue to track you and sell your info to third parties and share with LexisNexis.
This looks like a possible solution. Applause

in short - yes i got 2 free lines too.

long version -
opened an account with 6 lines on Magenta Plus over the phone, and got 3 of them free initially..

$10 AutoPay Discount
$30 2020 Line On Us 2 (Additional Lines)
$20 AutoPay Discount (Additional Lines)
$30 2020 3rd Line On Us 2 (Additional Lines)
$30 2020 Essentials Line On Us 3 (Additional Lines)

what's weird is that the last free line credit says Essentials when my plan is Magenta Plus. And this free line also messed up the 20% insider discount. had to chat and get the free credit on this line removed so that the insider can be applied.. ticket to resolve this is in progress

I found a post from that user from about 16 hrs with about 20 codes. Most them came back as already used, but one came back with "Unfortunately you are not eligible for this offer. Please contact T-Mobile Customer Care by dialing 611 from your handset to complete the qualifying offer requirements". Do you know what it's telling me? (I already created my account and ported in numbers).

I placed the order yesterday around 10:00 PM PT and got an email only one email so far "Thank you for your Order", however, the email doesn't have an order number. How to track the status of an order?
