That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

My status stuck on "Received" I saw that someone posted the description for 20% hookup is "service discount" while mine is "discount" only...

My hookup code was submitted 9/25 and was approved on 9/26. Here's what the tracker screen shows.

The status shows "received", do you mind checking this again?
I wonder if you receive any text about the hookup before approval? And receive another text after approval?

"Reward Type: Discount" vs "reward type: service discount"
First one:no auto approval while the latter:approval within 24 hrs....

If I know the difference earlier I would register every number for hookup

The current status shows Approved. Yes, I received a confirmation text right after submission and an approval text 25 hrs later.

I suppose the store did the business acct probably bcoz they get more commission and price was the same. It was a corporate store.

I didn't do double port. I had the original temp assigned and then just asked them to port ATT number. That was it. I will just wait a few days and see what happens. Thx
i think you are OK. just know that the weekend is a common batch job processing period. meaning, many background items are processed during the weekend. just wait until monday to make sure the 6th free line is still dark and causing discount issues. also, there are no issues with calling or txt with the 6th line right?

I wonder if someone willing to share the tracking number for the 20% hookup that got approved within 24-48 hrs of the porting. So I can prove to them there's definitely a problem with my hookup.

My status stuck on "Received" I saw that someone posted the description for 20% hookup is "service discount" while mine is "discount" only...

(I always got some billing problems with T-Mobile)

you are placing too much emphasis on the status tracker. you have to call.

yea, i dont get why the status language is different, but it shouldnt matter. "reward type: discount" vs "reward type: service discount" should be the same. the issue is related to proper updates.

my hookup code was approved last month, but the status hasnt changed.

Reward Type: Discount
Status: Received

therefore, dont rely on the status tracker. you have to call. the promo team can look at the real status. if its pending, youre fine. otherwise, it would show denied. even if you are approved, the status may not change like mine. this must be a glitch.

I believe the one with "reward type: discount" requires follow up... while the one with "service discount" will automatically get approval....

Your status didn't change because they manually apply the discount to your account

Can someone please post APN settings for t-mobile? I have LG K20 V (verizon version) and it keeps dropping to edge even though LTE signal strength is ok. When i use LTE/CDMA mode, LTe works fine but then i don't get voice or text...Thanks.

When you put the SIM in the phone and turn it on, T-mo should send you a text saying "Your phone doesn't have the correct settings....." and some attachments. which you touch INSTALL to install APN/.

Which phone make/model are you working with? If iPhone, I know nothing about them.
