That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

Mr brother got his new bill. Everything looks good except one $5.5 charge for mid cycle changes? Does anyone know what that is? He cancelled one line (digits and text) that was added to his acct without his knowledge since it was a biz acct. Thx

Thanks for that but the thread on Reddit discusses steps for cards issued by Sunrise Bank. Our cards are supposed to be issued by MetaBank. Do you think steps will be different?
Quote from hpham_53 :
The info on the card issuer for this promo is inconsistent. On one screen, it says MetaBank. On another screen, it says Sunrise Bank.

When I did the previous T-mo BYOD $200 deal in April this year, the card was issued by Sunrise Bank and it had an option to transfer the balance to a checking account at no charge. MetaBank is the bank that issued the Sprint BYOD/referral cards and there's no option to withdraw to a bank account. I don't know if T-mo now decides to use MetaBank or the ad writer copied the info from a Sprint promotion.
we need to wait and see. wirecard AG is in deep sheet. but wirecard NA is a totally separate entity that was Citi Prepaid Card Services. its partnered with Sunrise Bank. Metabank is not a partner. we need to see how this plays out and what prepaid debit platform features will be enabled for the end consumer. if metabank is used, most likely we will not have the ACH option.

looks like the store rep was being more shady besides opening a biz account vs consumer account. sounds like a well fargo 2MM+ fake accounts situation. make sure canceling a digits line doesnt hit your promos in any way.

also, the $5.5 is probably related prorated billing of the canceled line. i would call. get them to waive the inaccurate billing. it could also be related to paused lines while you were busy managing your account. suspended lines cause prorated billing. its difficult to explain, but just call. it can be credited.

I checked the double EIP thing again and it's a little different than what I initially mentioned. The two discounts weren't actually tied to the same line/record (Line 1 of 5). However, two of my five lines are currently reflecting the same phone number. Line 1 and Line 2 in my account both show my number. The other three lines show the temporary numbers. Not sure how this happened or if it's going to cause any problems, but Lines 2 to 5 will eventually be replaced when I complete the ports from ATT.

The ATT $250 BYOD offer was present/available when I signed up, but they have similar requirements regarding keeping the service active for a specified period of time, which means I wouldn't be able to complete the ports to TMO within the 30 days. I guess this could have been a potentially good opportunity to do the churning you previously mentioned...possibly could have did the ebay ATT ports to get the TMO BYOD promo and kept the four numbers active on ATT until I got their BYOD promo.

Thanks again for all your help!
i thought youre going to port in 4 numbers into TMO for the BYOD promo. no? but im not sure how you will replace lines 2 and 5 when lines 1 and 2 have the same number. what will you tell the transfer agent? which line to port in?

you need to double check your account profile and make sure its not a nickname/refresh glitch. otherwise, you need to call and have them look at your account. ask what they see. if you have two lines with the same number, that doesnt make sense from a billing perspective unless youre using a wearable. but those also have their own unique number. same with the BYOD promo. you need the numbers corrected.

also, you may still be able to hit the ATT BYOD promo. might as well since you went through the trouble of ATT postpaid. just depends on your time and what you have done so far. it might be worth the profit from ATT and TMO BYOD. thats how people chase telecom promo bonuses. just dont use your main lines if things go wrong. and youre already doing it anyway with ATT and TMO so might as well consider the opportunity.

I got the credit for $5.5. Here is what I think happened. I added the free line on 9/24. Then after waiting for a week for the shipped SIM, i activated a diff sim on 10/1 and ported in ATT number. Somehow there is a charge for the old /temporary number. The new ported number that replaced the old number shows 0, which is good going forward.

Not sure if this charge showed up bcoz I switched the SIM....

Agree. I think, by default, they reject most if not all and ask the users to call in and confirm. That's my guess. Atleast for the general promos like this one.

Sprint's concept of "Guilty until proven innocent". Although Sprint is now a part of T-mo, their own culture of shady business practices is alive and well.

nice. glad you got the credit back. yes, switching SIMs would cause your old SIM line to be suspended. check your profile history and look for that status. the $5.5 is related to the week of prorated service even though you didnt use it.

Then I guess the option to allow withdrawing the card's balance to a bank account is decided by the bank's client (i.e. T-mobile).
My brother got 4x$100 virtual mastercard today. It is by wirecard NA. I asked him if he saw the option to cash out thru the checking acct. He didn't see it. Are you familiar with wirecard NA? Thx

Update: I asked him to send me the link. I logged in on my desktop and went to Access$ and transferred to the checking account. Can you use the same checking acct for the other 3 cards? Thx

Which deal did your brother get the 4x$100 Virtual Mastercard from?

I've got a few wirecard as partial refund for my AT&T accounts. You can use their web site to withdraw the balance to a bank account. I used the same bank account for all the cards.

Since my wirecards from AT&T were from different accounts, spread over 4-5 months, I can't answer your question with certainty. But I was able to use the same bank account for 3 different cards, so I don't think there's any sort of cookies/footprint in Wirecard system that says each account can only be used once.

Didn't you use the same wirecard system with T-Mob promo back in April/May?
