If you are interested in this deal, Lenovo will price match it. Then you can get rewards points back. I don't think this item on Newegg gives you any rewards points back. Also if you want to purchase an extended warranty, its a lot cheaper though Lenovos website. Just my 2 cents
i think we'll see a lot of deals on computers with the nvidia 20- series now that the 30- series will be phased in by most manufacturers in the next 1-2 months
I bought the $750 HP pavilion gaming laptop back in July, just because I needed to go ahead and grab something but hadn't found any 4K 17-in deals I was willing to spend big on just yet (4K is a lot easier working in Adobe programs, which is my primary use before gaming). My nephew has this, though, and that screen is absolutely fantastic. Would have definitely spent bigger for this screen Even without the 4k, As well as all of the other components being between 1 and 3 steps higher. These newer legions seem pretty well built. But that cheap little HP has definitely got the job done so far in premiere pro and after effects. Just need a sweet deal on those gigabyte aero HDR systems.
I would wait too. It is on par with all previous worthy deals with RTX 2070 level graphics. It's ok for SDers to be aware of this deal as a barometer price to beat.
Here are all other potentially better RTX 2070 laptop deals that came before this...in the past few months during back to school shopping period.

Lenovo's 500Nit display is great. 144hz, GSYNC.. Very rare that a manufacture have those specs for a reasonable price.
My only complaint is I've had to underclock/undervolt the CPU to prevent thermal throttling.
