The boxes in the warehouse have an additional packet of warranty information attached to the boxes. (At least they do here locally.)
So even though the box is printed with a 3-year warranty on it, the additional information explains the extension of the 3 year warranty to 5 years.
(And yes, if you use the Costco Visa credit card, that tacks on an additional 2 years, making it 7 years total.)

I will get the extended warranty with the citi card but rather not deal with that in the future.

There is a limit 3 and it is SUPPOSED to be a month-long sale, not a short term special. And rumored to be the same price at other stores.
Stock might be an issue for discontinued models, but there is no indication this will be discontinued this unusually soon in its life.
Warehouses with few in stock now may be getting more stock for this sale soon. But for the same price, why would you even want to buy it instore instead of getting it delivered?
So it may be best to just pull the trigger and call Wednesday for a price adjustment/refund. That's what I just did.

Return it and buy again warranty changes aren't covered by price adjustments... just got it delivered last week seems they'll also do nothing if you paid the 99$ for square trade and now it's cheaper when the sale goes live..
Honestly I got a good panel with not mounting bands which EVERYONE SHOULD IMMEDIATELY CHECK THERE PLANEL WHEN THEY GET THERE'S Especially the 65in.. dont wanna lug it back. I'd douvle check buying one from anywhere as alot of people will be returning to get the better warranty. Even costco there delivery service is still a warehouse box
IE: if bought before the 30th(sale starts) your stuck with 3 years instead of 5 with costco. even with squaretrade

Thanks I'll have to return\rebuy it. I don't mind bringing it back to the store to have to drive it home again since I haven't opened it yet (on purpose). I think they are going to need to scan the box for the serial number so I can't leave the TV at home and just bring the receipt in for a match (and to get the extra 2 years warranty). Sounds like there is no need to purchase Squaretrade at all when the sale goes live (as it will be included on the sale deal right?), so I also can get the $99 back for that SquareTrade warranty I bought with the TV on Saturday right?
