For everyone who keeps questioning the warranty information:

The boxes in the warehouse have an additional packet of warranty information attached to the boxes. (At least they do here locally.)

So even though the box is printed with a 3-year warranty on it, the additional information explains the extension of the 3 year warranty to 5 years.

(And yes, if you use the Costco Visa credit card, that tacks on an additional 2 years, making it 7 years total.)

Hope this helps clarify things a bit...

Sony's pushing it as part of their "PS5 Ready" series and is actually one of the few TV's capable of gaming 4K at 120 Frames...however this tv will not do it out the box until a firmware update Sony has yet to push. I mean you bought this way back in July. So you've enjoyed this TV for about 2 months while others patiently waited. Maybe just go to Costco and see if they will price adjust without all the hassles of returning. Cause you returning will just cause your TV to get sent back to Sony and they will then have to sell it as refurbished and then reship it somewhere else to sell. The carbon footprint of all this is huge.

That's likely a warranty due to buying it from Costco with a membership. you can also extend it by using Costco's credit card.

It's been like that on the website for days. It is a 5 year warranty. They haven't fixed the details sections. You call Sony the first 5 years as it's a manufacturer warranty. Costco I think comes into play if you do the SquareTrade warranty. I am still wondering why they are pushing the $99 ST warranty since the price is now below 1k. It should be the $64.99 price.

There is some washout of colors at an angle, but I honestly can't see it unless I take a picture at an angle and then compare it with the same image without an angle. When comparing the two images side by side, sure, I can notice that the angled view is a little less vibrant. But it's not something I am ever likely to perceive if I were just casually watching tv at an angle.

Costco allows price adjustment if item was bought within 30 days. Though I suspect the store manager might have some discretion on this.

Yes I'm aware of that and that is very fair. However the OP, already made one price adjustment and now is asking to make a second price adjustment. If Costco doesn't give the price adjustment, they will abuse the 90 day returns to rebuy the tv. I just think that's a bit shitty to get today's price when they ordered the TV over 30 days ago.

Totally agree, I have the 75 also and was a bit concerned about all the negative talk regarding angles. Now that I have it in my home, I've watched at pretty sharp angles and the pictures remains very good.

It will at some point when Sony puts out an update via firmware for it. No idea when that will be. Hopefully soon with next gen consoles coming in 6 weeks...
