Yeah, makes sense. I'm in Chicago, have a Costco less then a mile away and about another 15 Costco's within a 50 mile radius lol.
Lucky, haha. I'm that way with Best Buy. It was nice when I worked there a few years ago. It was less than a ten minute drive to work.

If you set the delivery to late Oct, does the 30 day price adjustment start at delivery or time of purchase? Trying to plan for any BF price drops if that's a possibility.

I am sorry if this was covered throughout the thread but can someone explain to me the warranty and how Costco + the Sony warranty work? Is is 5 years from Sony if anything happens to the TV via normal usage that they will replace it? Does it matter which credit card I use to purchase?

Got the X900H from Amazon for a few bucks more 2 days back solely because I can get 0% for 18 months financing. That deal is back on Amazon today.

Best Buy matched the Amazon link, but not the Costco due to the special naming convention. But either way, great deal!
It's $969.99 if you have a My Best Buy account. I would save on shipping, but Best Buy offers a 1 year MFG warranty as opposed to the 5 year MFG warranty with Costco.

Can anyone comment on watching 4k from 9-10 feet away / will 65 inches be too small? Online charts make it seem so but want to know how others feel...

9-10FT is fine for a 65" 4K. My fiance and I currently use a 65" Sony in our living room, and it's completely fine. I previously had that same TV in my den which is the same distance. You'll have no problems using a 65" HDTV with that distance.

My rule has always been whatever the width of the TV is how far back you should be... especially for 4k.

Greentoe currently has the 75" at $1799 no tax shipped to Texas (your state might be different), in order to come close to that price it would have to drop to around $1649 from big box retailers (since the majority of them all charge tax). The 75" is technically on sale right now at Costco and price will go up after 10/4. I have a feeling it will drop in November but thinking it won't be more than a $200-$300 drop... though that could potentially mean Greentoe might go even lower... anyways, pointing out for people who may be wanting a 75" now
Best Buy has had the 75 inch for around $1999 or less for weeks!

5 years is directly from Sony. You call Sony if you have any issues. Costco and CC don't get involved. Years 6 and 7 are handled by Costco and credit card.

Warranties are different from Insurance. You don't get it replaced if *anything* happens to it. If it falls off the wall, that's on you. If the picture dies in 3 years without obvious physical damage, that's probably on them. It also doesn't guarantee a replacement. They may decide to repair.

It doesn't matter what credit card you purchase with for the first 5 years. If you want years 6 and 7 for free, use your Costco credit card.

Will Costco pick up TV's from your home when returning like Amazon?
No. They make you do it. I dragged a king size mattress back to one of their shops to return it cuz they said I can't ship it back lol

Must have been bad info earlier in the thread for whoever it was that reached out to a Costco employee (if memory serves)

Others in the thread said 30 day price adjustment starts on day of delivery. The latest delivery date for me was October 26, so that's what I got. Would've preferred later but at least it covers up to Thanksgiving.

In for one thanks! Tons at my local costco in stock.

Wasn't sure what mount to get. Got the Sanus full motion they had in store for $120, which didn't feel like a slick deal.
