Man their accessories are expensive! $100 for the personal cup adapter?! Might as well spend $66 more and get the S50 reconditioned which is designed for the personal cup and comes with one. But what do I need a second Vitamix for?!
The 5200 is probably my most favorite and useful kitchen gadget I've ever purchased. No fancy digital display, just easy knob and switch controls. The power on this thing is insane.

Nice! Got the 6500, seems like a solid price. Have the 5300 reconditioned for a few years and it's been great (Except the base tends to move around due to the force of the blades).

I had the same issue with my 5200 in the past. YMMV but for me, a reversed mousepad (grip side up) fits pretty well underneath it and will take the vibration while limiting the shift. I also notice its a touch quieter but still fairly loud.
Just a note: They will refund to new prices on recent orders. Got $75 back just for asking to refund the difference.
Thank you
I ordered 32 oz Dry Jar with using Settlement code like a month ago.$145-$75 paid $79.
Now the jar is for $99 so will try for difference.
I am on phone for waiting for rep from 30 minutes .

Hope I get the code before the sale ends. If they stack this will be super slick. Thinking of getting 6500,... hopefully they're not gonna update it soon or I'll get jealous.

The difference between 5200 and 6500 is the presets or anything else like quietness during operation?
I just received the Blendtec 650 and paid $290+taxes. Are any of these worth returning the Blendtec? Blendtec lacks the tamper without buying additional accessories. Extremely loud. Is that enough to return and get a Vitamix?

I don't own a 6500 but i have experience with the 5200, 7500 and pro 750. At the end of the day, they are all loud AF for the <1 minute of blending you will use it for. If noise is a concern (i.e. baby sleeping), I would blend at strategic times or place the base in a closet/pantry to blend.

I don't have experience with the blendtec but friends and family have all returned their blendtec or opted for a vitamix based on it's known durability and consistency. My parents have owned a Vitamix 5000 for about 16 or 17 years with daily use. That and the fact that their customer service is high quality was enough to win me over a few years ago when I was in your shoes.
