Yes, tiny text looks poorer due to the lower resolution and noticeable coming from a s8 through s20. Make sure you are happy with such a screen.

I spoke to the Rep and she searched for the current promote and found promo. It took about 20-25 minutes to complete the order. Then there's an email for DocuSign for the agreement to finance the phone. I asked how the credit apply and I was told to call back when I receive the phone to activate the phone and let them know if I want the $500 debit card or apply the monthly credit so this is where I am confused. I've never done a trade in before so I don't know how the credit part works but reading here and on their site it looks like $300 instant credit apply to the phone then the balance of $199 is spread out over 24-months bill credit. I had to provide a credit card number for the $67.xx charge for tax and $20 of which is the Upgrade Fee (I call this the BS Fee). The rep did waive the overnight shipping charge. I asked about how to send my S7 Edge to them and the rep said the new phone will come with a shipping label for the trade in.
So far my biggest concern is that $500 trade-in credit has only been expressed during the call but I haven't seen any document showing the $500 trade-in credit. I suppose I can return the phone if the trade-in credit is not true.
I'm glad things are being clarified online as well and people are being able to take advantage of the deal.
Sucks that T mobile charges over night shipping when Sprint didn't do that for upgrades.
Happy that I got a good trade in Deal for the v40. The phone was starting to lag and freeze. 🤗

Don't know that if that has already been stated by another slickdealer, but those on the Basic Essentials Plan (promotional plan from a little while back that gave 4 lines with unlimited talk, text, data) are not eligible for this promotion. Just talked to a T-mobile rep on the phone. The promotion says that there are no plan restrictions, but it states right afterwards in parenthesis that the Basic Essentials Plan is excluded. Just wanted to let people know before they pulled the trigger.
I'm glad things are being clarified online as well and people are being able to take advantage of the deal.
