the recent LABO sales have been $19.99 each, so $26.99 for two is a great deal.
My 3 year old was helping to build and that's it. He can't play anything other than the race where you just need to step on the pedal to accelerate.
Great price, and these are the two best sets. My 7 year old is able to do all the instructions and assemble them himself so these are a great STEM-lite toy for 1st & 2nd grade kids. Older kids will probably like them too, but early elementary is probably the sweet spot.

Got this package last time (a few months ago) at the same price. It is a really good deal. I ended up getting the whole set of Kit 01 to Kit 04 with the other 2 kits at $20 each.

This is a great value. If I hadn't bought each for 20 I'd jump on this in a sec. Perfect for kids who like to build and game.

Was considering one at $20. Both for $30 after tax is a no-brainer (for me, at least).

Thanks! My kids thank you as well Smilie

They are more durable than you think, but yes it is cardboard. My 7 year old enjoys the kits, and assembly is a fun activity to do together. That said, they can certainly be destroyed quickly if the kid actively trying to destroy them. They will withstand some rough use as my 3 year old has played with some of the kits and they're still in one piece.
