Also look at the Libby app for you phone, you can borrow audiobooks from your local library. Its amazing and has made audible a thing of the past for me. The main downside is that it doesn't allow offline listening but it's not a huge deal with a decent data plan.
And then you will only get about 10% of the audiobooks so you won't have to worry about having too many to listen to.
Your math doesn't make sense...you are paying 22.95 for 2 credits a month(the 3 credits for $30 is there for both plans). Instead, you could get 12 credits for $99(and do it multiple times per year, since if you cancel and renew you get it each time).

So you will pay more per book either way, plus get the same 3 credits for $30 deal. This deal is better in every way.

I just got the deal by trying to cancel online. I didn't have to talk to anyone. I just selected "Too Expensive" for the reason and it offered me the 12 credits for $99.50 deal.

2 questions:

1. Did that show on the first screen after clicking cancel, or you had to go further? I tried it (but hadn't spent the 2 credits yet...) and it didn't ask a reason or offer. I'll try again after I use the credits.

2. Did it give you all 12 credits at once?

Additional question: were you in the free trial, monthly, or a prepaid yearly plan?

I cancelled my free trial started yesterday and it gave me a different offer. 7.95/mo for 3 months for premium plus. I accepted for now, hope the 99.50 comes back..
Edit: It actually billed me 7.49 instead of 7.95.
