Mine started making noise after about 18 months, then stopped turning at all a few months after that. I suspect the bearings or bushings are shot. Breville won't sell the part and wanted as much as a new oven (plus shipping) to repair it. I bought another brand, but hated the UI, so i reluctantly bought a replacement Breville when they went on sale ($180 at BBB after a coupon glitch allowed the 20%) a few months ago. It works so far, but I feel like a putz for spending so much money when I know it's going to fail in a year or two.
I bet the fan motor is generic, and I bet there is a replacement available with another part number. Or maybe the bushings can be replaced. But I have no idea how I'd go about figuring out what would fit without a lot of trial and error.
If you find a good solution let me know...
You must first remove the bottom feet (6 screws on each foot), the 4 screws under the feet securing the cover to the chassis, and 18 screws from the back. Once the screws are removed from the back, the back panel slides straight down and lifts off. Then the cover must be slid backward about half an inch to disengage the retaining flanges (requires quite a bit of force) along the top front and side opposite the control panel. At this point, with the screw removed under the control panel, the cover and control panel can be removed. The cover has to be carefully rotated up and off about the bottom front because there are relatively short cables attached to the control panel.
Note that the screw under the control panel screws into plastic and is different from all the other screws that have to be removed.
Anyone doing this should be very careful not to get cut. The cover and other sheet metal parts have sharp edges. Wearing gloves especially while sliding the cover backward would be a good idea.
I've had mine apart so many times to fix various problems that I can have the cover off in 10 minutes despite Breville making it unnecessarily difficult. I took it apart today to lubricate the fan motor that had seized. The motor uses sintered bronze bushings surrounded in felt rings to hold oil that seeps through the porous bushings. The felt rings in mine appeared completely dry and pristine white as if they had never been soaked in oil.
These ovens are nice when they work but are poorly designed and manufactured in my opinion. A friend gave me mine after a bad crimp on a wire terminal overheated, melted a solder joint, and burned part of the power supply PCB. This was his second such oven to suffer an untimely failure. Many parts are also unavailable. I couldn't find a replacement power supply PCB or fan motor.

I would also like to know if anybody has any work around for this.
The 20% in-store/online coupons I had said it's not eligible at checkout.
I'll see how it is over the next few days. The Cuisinart TOA-65 is going on sale on Wednesday to $160 per the Costco flyer, so I have been debating both. If the Breville is too big and cooking too slow even with the air fryer option (since it's bigger size), I'll just return and go to Costco later this week instead.

They last a long time, but we did notice that the power button on ours wouldn't work some times, but if you keep pressing it will finally work.
The last thing that made me start looking is the mechanism to keep the door closed went out. So time for a new one.
I have worked on my oven unit and espresso machine, both have been easy plug-in-play connecters. Their products have been easy to open and repair. There are also videos online. Like any repair, the easiness is based on your skills.
I have the same issue and was trying to open but got stuck trying to remove the lcd section, apparently you need a looooong screw driver. Got my oven for 20$ on offerup used, I don't care much avout failing to open in a professional way, so I'll try to do a video when my new fan arrives.
