Released in 2017. I would go with something more recent.

Probably worth waiting for prime day to see what deals there are on mesh systems

The M9's sell at Costco regularly for $199. Even though they are better, they still aren't meeting my needs and I think I'm sending them back.

After how unreliable my M9's were with constant dropped/glitchy connections (even when router was in the same room), and a total inability to get support from TPLink, I'm done with them.

Fun fact: the Deco app will always say your firmware is up to date no matter how many versions behind you are; the ability to update firmware thru the app is broken and has been for over a year.

I had the same issue. I had to disable fast roaming. Excellent after that.

I think there is an issue with the title. It's showing the M5s but the title says X20s?
I was about to be very upset considering I just bought the X20s at $270.

It's definitely a mislabeled product.

Our house is barely 2k feet so we don't need the mesh to cover area, but we have 46 devices connected. Would a mesh help? Our netgear hates assigning IPs to our TP link light switches so I wonder if upgrading to this would help keep them connected?

What am I missing here?

The listing says:

TP-Link Deco X20 WiFi 6 Mesh WiFi, AX1800 Whole Home WiFi System, Covers up to 5800 Sq. Ft., Next-Gen Wi-Fi 6

If delivered, this should be better than the M5, right?

I hope so. I ordered one to see what happens. Does Amazon honor it? I screen recorded my order as well.

The title is definitely wrong. The product shown under this listing is M5, not X20.

I don't know I have the Google router and 1 Google puck and my 2800sqft house all devices consistently gets 250mbs per device. Only thing my son says his ps4 gets kicked off randomly every day

I bought the M5 a few months back since I started working from home. This helped improve the speed tremendously and made sure I wasn't getting a bad connection during Zoom conference calls.

I had the m5 three pack for a year, it has laggy speed when many devices connected. Mainly due to back haul congested. Then I switched to M9 Costco three pack. Now problem solved. Greatly recommended paying $50 more for the M9
