This is a repeat of an earlier deal that went OOS.

As noted by Fryth [link], this machine comes with a pulley setup that offers 1:2 resistance ratio. So, each 165 pound weight stack offers 82.5 pounds of resistance.

1. Weight - This thing is as heavy as you'd expect. It comes on a pallet with three large boxes and a bunch of boxes full of weights. You might be able to move the pieces by yourself but really should be at least two people. It took 4-5 hours to get fully put together.
2. It comes with more resistance that i expected. I debated on ordering additional weight from the manufacturer Day 1 but glad I didn't.
3. Motion - Smoother than i expected. The cable move really smoothly for a non-commercial piece of equipment. For tricep pushdowns it is a little short but it's doable and there many alternatives.
4. Bench - For me, it is basically garbage. It's far too short for practical use and I ended up getting a regular size one off Amazon that is much better.
5. Wall poster - Since i'm not the only one in the house to use it I got a $10 wall poster from Amazon that has a bunch of different types of exercises.
6. Flooring - Costco had some really nice 1/2" foam gym padding I got to put this and other equipment on. If you're even considering it, doing the flooring first will be a hell of a lot easier than after.
Overall i'm very happy with it as it substitutes many other pieces of equipment, and is quick to switch exercises. Hope this was helpful

They deliver to Hawaii (where I live) and they don't deliver to North Carolina??? That didn't make sense to me. They don't stock the machines locally, so it's undoubtedly coming from a regional depot.
So, I tried an experiment. I entered my zipcode (96720) on the order page and then checked out using a fake Raleigh address. It worked fine all the way up to the Place Order screen, where I debated whether I should place the order. I figured the cancellation should be easy, so I went ahead and clicked the Place Order button and voilà, the order went through successfully. I canceled the order a few seconds later. I don't need a second FTX.
My suggestion to you is to try doing the same. YMMV, but it's worth a try. Good luck!
EDIT: According to CostCo's order cancellation email: "It doesn't come from a Costco store or depot; it ships directly from the manufacturer." So, I'm not sure what is up with the zip code order restrictions.
And please report back if this idea works.

I do agree though that I wouldn't do the major compound exercises with a crossover cable system... though I guess it's better than nothing if you don't own or want to own a barbell, plate weights and a cage or a smith machine.

If you want an upgrade-able stack buy the body solid functional version. It can be upgraded to 310 lbs( at the cost of range of motion btw)
After using a functional trainer and cable cross over for 10+ years now, i've come to a conclusion on how useless it is to go to heavy on them. Trying to do bench press or squatting in one won't ever feel the same like with real weight. You just cannot get the same leverage or the ability to balance the weights properly using cables. Futhermore the resistance in a cable machine varies with the angle & friction, and you will get a lot of sticking points because of cheap bearings, esp the heavier the stack is.
IMO if you using one for heavy exercises it's a waste of time. These things are great for auxiliary exercises and finishers.
It reportedly comes on three pallets, weighing about 650 pounds. Personally, I'd rather have it delivered to my home than pick it up at the warehouse.
EDIT: After re-reading your post, I think I may have misinterpreted your message. If so, please disregard my useless suggestion.

Best of luck!
Nonetheless, I purchased the bench and the poster. Both seemed well reviewed and useful.
As to flooring, I was surprised to see so many options are OOS. They are almost as scarce as gym equipment! Of the remaining options, the CostCo EZ Flex Interlocking tiles were the best combination of price vs. quality. But I took my chances and purchased some 4' x 6' x 3/4" rubber stall mats from the Tractor Supply Company. They are not as refined a product, but they will take a beating. I don't have to worry about dropping any weights onto them.
However, as commonly complained about, THEY STINK TO HIGH HEAVEN. I unloaded the mats from the back of my pickup truck two hours ago and I can still smell the residual chemical/rubber odor that clings to my hair and clothing. I'll wash the mats down with detergent tomorrow and let them air out for a couple of weeks before installing them in my garage.

The unit feels very solid, the handle adjustments slide very smoothly, lock into place and feel sturdy. When maxing out the weight stack or doing pull ups on pull up bar, the unit feels solid and doesn't creak of move. After almost a year of owning the functional trainer (using it 6 days a week) its held up very well (knock on wood). I highly recommend cleaning the weight rails once a month and applying super lube to the rails once clean.
As mentioned by others, the bench is low to the ground, but I think its low due to the overall height of the trainer. If the bench was taller, it would be difficult to get full range on certain exercises, you wouldn't be able to get full extension on pull downs. I'm 5'8" and don't really have too much of an issue, although there are times I have kneel for certain exercises due to the limited height of the unit. I did buy an amazon basics accessory kit that included an additional pull down cable, upside down v shape pull down handle, a small straight bar, and a double grip row handle for about $50 (price is probably much more now). I also ordered a single cable curling bar, and a dual cable straight bar (at the time Inspire was about 3 month out on getting the inspire branded dual hook straight bar).
The only not so great thing for me was the dual hook curling bar it came with. It was unconformable to do reverse pull downs, and I felt the curves on the bar weren't in the write spot for other exercises.
Overall I highly recommend it, its a killer price at $1299.
