Not knocking Total Wine since they're just a regular booze store, but I've tried a few of the mail order wines and had pretty mediocre luck. I'm not a huge wine drinker, but, honestly, their $20 stuff doesn't seem much better than what I can pick up at Costco for less than half the price. Their $10-$15 bottles were mostly worse than Frontera which I usually get on sale for $4.
Frontera on sale for $4??? Where? it's always nearly $9 in NJ.
Wonder if this will work on the concierge; I remember it worked on a Chase offer and they have a limited edition Johnny Walker bottle with my name on it

You can order online for in-store pickup too. Doesn't have to be mail order. If you want a nice red for $20ish I'd look into the Russian River pinots noir.

I get them at a local supermarket in southern California (Super King for anyone else over here). They're usually on sale for $6 and occasionally drop lower (when I stock up). We generally only drink wine with my in-laws, and father in law refuses to drink anything more than $10 a bottle. If I don't provide the wine we're stuck with Gato Negro which is.....ugh.

Thanks, any recommendations for a Malbec? That seems to be our family's favorite.
Totally depends where you are for pricing but I like Lagavulin for good peaty scotch and while not "scotch" I've been loving Hibiki the last several years. Japanese whiskey is so hot right now.
Those 2 together would be a little under $150 in most markets. Then you could fill with a decent bottle of wine or beer.
You could try a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue. I personally like Johnny Walker Green label and Lagavulin myself. Honestly, scotch is definitely an acquired taste and you may want to try it out in a smaller cheaper amount before you drop $150 on a bottle or two that you may absolutely hate. A few of my friends tried some expensive scotch bottles I had and they absolutely hated them lol.
Has anyone actually done the order online for store pickup and triggered the deal? I just want to make sure before I try it.
