It's because the last few times the deal was screwed up & lots of people got sims that did not load the service. I've bought a lot of these in the past but had to get refunds on the last ones, it's a crap shoot.
Were the messed up ones all Verizon SIMs?

Yes you can. Last year I was on US T-mobile and switched to Tracfone-T-mobile without a problem. However, my coverage in the Washington DC area is better with ATT than T-mobile, so this year I wanted to try to switch to ATT but I learned if I switched that I would loose all my rollover minutes and texts I saved with T-mobile . So think longer term.
As long as you stay with Tracfone you can keep all your minutes etc whether you change to T-mo, AT&T or Verizon Tracfone SIMs.

Seems like some were At&T and some were Verizon, I got refunds for one of each. Each time they've had a deal there have been some that were empty and they never bothered to fix the "system". There are threads going back a year with lots of complaints about empty sims.

Bummer, I haven't bought this deal since they came with actual air time cards. I'm in for two Verizon, rolling the dice.

I am current tracfone verizon user. Can I order the one with ATT sim card, keep mu current number and transfer the remaining balance on my current verizon sim card to this new ATT sim card?

Existing customers trying to stack their existing benefits on VERIZON for some reason where not getting the new plan (TF clamping down on people going around the rules) but for others it worked. If you are a new customer then no issues at all. Hit or miss with Verizon SIMs if you are an existing customer with a Verizon based device on TF.

Yes they were, Verizon ones for existing customers looking to stack. I would stay away from that based off previous threads.. Def go with ATT/TMO as for some reason it works way better.

you really have nothing to lose since there's always the eBay guarantee as well as either PayPal or credit card dispute to fall back on. I have several lines paid up till 2022 & 2023 with more time/minutes than I'll ever use from these cheap deals.

I read the following post carefully. I didn't get it. Where do we need physical cards to stack it with current plan?

Physical cards refers to airtime cards that used to be included in these deals, not the SIM cards. The airtime is now assigned directly to the SIM cards.

I read the following post.
Stacking with preexisting sim card, just log in my account, the activate the new sim card. They use the number on sim card, but they didn't use any information on the physical cards.

Are you sure? If true (and it makes sense), that will be great!

So if I needed a new number to port into t-mobile in a month, I could buy the att sim and then be eligible for any promos t-mobile runs on new lines that require port in? Best way to get a new account to port in? Any better deals out there?

Good deal, but go for the tmo. All the times I've gotten tmo service have been flawless but att data is terrible on this plan.

Yet redpocket AT&T works great for me too, so crazy
