As was mentioned by me and a few others, that DONGKNOWS review is poorly done. It is not an apples to apples comparison, he used a router with a brand new firmware comparing to an identical router with firmware over 6 months old which had major problems just like any other router around that time. It takes time to work out the bugs and TP-Link, Netgear, Asus to name a few all put out routers with bugged performance with their first set of Wifi 6 routers. So yeah..... Important to make apples to apples instead of reading something without understanding the testing. If he did it the correct way he would have had both side by side on the same firmware.The routers are identical outside USB 3.0 port and Homecare included on one, so you will get identical performance results with the same firmware.

2. CAT7, a CAT 6 or CAT5e cable is needed for gigabit Ethernet. Most cables made for the last 10 years are already 5e, so just saying that cables are usually never a bottleneck.

Big disclaimer sometime soon as early as the beginning of next year we should start seeing Wifi 6E routers which is a whole new standard using 6Ghz bands, so that will be the next big step. If your not in a rush might be worth wild to wait. Existing wifi 6 routers will not be able to take advantage of the new Wifi 6E as its all new hardware.

Unfortunately the AX20 is better in a couple other ways, one its a quad core processor. The better the CPU the more capable the router is, and the C4000 is a dual core. The other thing the AX20 has going for it is OFDMA which is a technology which is actually what is great and needed for when you have tons of low band width devices such as IOT devices using bandwidth at home. At least thats the marketing hype, but still getting worked out.
Also you mentioned the AX20 as not having MU-MIMO that would be incorrect it does have it, MU-MIMO is a standard technology introduced with the AX wifi 6 standard. I am not sure why its not listed on the product pages on some retailers, but its clearly listed on the TP-Link website. Linking it below:

I grabbed one back in march during a walmart mixup and swapped out an Asus bluecave and it has no problem keeping up with dozens of devices. Max wireless throughput I've seen was in the 700Mbps range in the same room. Otherwise it's 450-600 within a couple rooms away, range is much improved over the asus.
Its being mentioned so people are aware of it, cause if you have the money, then you can afford to get the best, yes its not for everyone, does not mean the information should not be shared.

I have at&t fiber and I get low 300 mbps download speeds with a tp 1750 that was on sale for 40$ a couple months ago, it has WiFi 5 I believe

and every few days i have to restart them for the upload speeds to be normal. they drop to .01mb/s
2ghz wont pass 30mb/s when my old 5 year old router delivered 110mb/s on 2ghz
5ghz delivers my max speed but for some reason videos lag and buffer.
my chromecast cant connect to it no matter what i do
set up was annoying
range is terrible, not near whats listed.
tp-link doesnt have a way to use mulitple routers in a mesh setup like my last routers (asus) did. major disappointment.
TLDR: i will be replacing these with a google mesh system + a gigabit switch. i hear it just works without headaches.
