If your trade-in doesn't match the condition described, or isn't an eligible device, you will no longer qualify for the T-Mobile Special Trade-in Offer. 1) Going directly with T-mobile, using the iPhone 8 as a trade in will net you $415 off instead of Apple $140 + $150 Rebate Card. $415 vs $290. No brainer. Granted the Tmo deal is bill credits, but if your staying with Tmobile, who cares.
2) If you don't want Bill credits, BE PATIENT. Costco will have an offer soon if they don't have one already that will usually mirror T-Mobiles direct offer except with a prepaid card instead. Will beat Apple's crappy offer.

When checking out there is an option to do this , make sure you select.
So I took the Apple deal, signed up for 24 months on the Apple Card w/ 0% and 3% cash back which was applied against the taxes owed, then went to TMobile and waiting to get my $150 digital mastercard as soon as I get the IMEI number....
