Excellent deal. For those who are wondering these are the CMR drives (not SMR) which is a good thing, especially if you plan to had these in a NAS.

Solid deal, although I'm gonna hold out for a chance at some Ironwolf's on BF.

Yep, I'm looking at 6 or 8 TB though. 4TB isn't enough for my 2-bay.

I don't think either is better than the other, I just prefer the longer warranty on SG's.

I've had equal numbers of WD and SG drives fail over the years, at the end of the day I'll take either but if I'm being picky...my current choice is SG.

I run both brands in identical NAS's, never noticed a sound or speed difference. If they weren't labeled I'd never be able to tell which is which.

The regular iron wolf has 3 year warranty. The pros have 5 year.

Regardless, I just bought 2x6tb ironwolf from b&h for $135 per drive because I wanted more than 4tb for my new 2 bay NAS. Basic drives for basic home use.

Ahh, yes my bad. I started calling them all Ironwolf's since all we buy now are the Pro's.
