I still don't understand the thumbs down on the critical comments on this TV. It's literally a waste of $88. This won't last 6 months and y'all will be complaining here in the next couple months
This is just a nonsensical statement. Lots of folks still rocking crappy low end TV brands (Westinghouse, Element etc) that they bought over 5 years ago. Bet this TV is probably a rebadged mid tier brand. No issues getting it. Not even springing for the warranty either.

This scenario would still only come out to 4 years total because the extended warranty starts when you purchase the TV not after the manufacturers warranty (of 2 years) ends.
If it's a three year extended warranty, and Citibank adds on another two years, that's five years total.

what size of LG and Samsung's you have? How about sharing that guac recipe?
LG is 65", Samsung is 55". Guac recipe has to stay private.

I imagine even toying with the idea of using this as a work monitor for my laptop dock is silly and text will look like ass.
I did some serious considering when looking for a TV to use as a work monitor (I already had a 40" for home use). Unless you're sitting unusually far from the screen, anything larger than about 43" will have you moving your head up and down too much, which I personally find annoying.

This isn't quite right. The extended warranty isn't for an additional three years, it's three years total, that's even if you register the TV. So with the Citi credit card (excluding Citi Double Cash) on top of that, it's a total of five years. Still not bad for a $300 TV.
Which Citi cc exactly gives additional warranty on top of manufacturer and store warranties?

Virtually no chance. They're putting a relative handful on sale to draw attention to the fact their Black Friday deals are starting early. National news outlets have run stories on this TV deal. There will be millions, literally millions, of people trying grab them tonight... including people running sophisticated shopping bots that skip over the checkout procedure. Good luck getting Walmart.com to even load the checkout page before these are gone.
I just seen a previous deal that had either this or a very similar, possibly older version for $69. I wonder if it will go down more after this sale.

Please share the guac recipe. I am serious.
I'll give you my two secret ingredients...

Dash of soy sauce and a dash of cumin. Be careful with both, don't put in too much.

Okay was at wallys world earlier and the manager said the online system will automatically choose the nearest store based on your zip code. She said each store got about 25 of these units. If your local store is out you are SOL.

No she would not sell me the 70" earlier either!

Your video is not the same TV posted on this thread.. This one is a 4K Roku Smart TV with and average of 4 star rating. It may not be a high end product but $88 for an 4K Smart Roku TV is worthed for any use; Could be kids/guest room TV, you can use with your computer as a monitor or a spare TV.
Karma and Rep aside, I love seeing down-votes in threads like these. Usually means more product left to buy for the rest of us who know what they are getting Big Grin

For online orders it is shipping only or does your statement also applies? I might consider pickup since I want the TV in one piece or is delivery ok?

The total would still be 4 years. The extended warranty doesn't start at the end of the manufacturers warranty, it starts when you buy it no matter what the Walmart employee might say. When you get the paperwork it states that it runs from the purchase date through the length of the purchased extended warranty.

It's just depends which entity is easier to deal with on getting a problem resolved. This way you would have the options of Manufacturer, Warranty company, or credit card.
I have Citi Thankyou Preferred cc, so will this be added to the 2yrs manufacturer warranty making it 3 total yrs?

No kidding! I just email it to myself in the meantime and snooze it until an hour before the deal goes live. Then I'm still notified and ready for any deals I am interested in.

Hoping I can score the 70" for the pool. Add a sound bar and this is a decent outdoors setup.
