So $5 Off a $55 purchase (9% off).

I use cash app's 20% off USPS which sells Amazon gift cards.
This is a common mistake. You spend $50 real dollars to get 55 Amazon dollars. So to redeem, you have to buy $55 worth of Amazon merchandise (not just $50 in Amazon merchandise) and you pay $50 (not $45).

10% would be $5 Off $50 gift card (you pay $45 but get $50).

But this is 9% with $5 off of $55 gift card (you pay $50 but get $55).

If you do the math, it's only 9% off. Or are you not having to spend $50 to get this deal?
You just wasted chase rewards points.
It's not even close to being 1 cent per point.
You spent $62.50 in chase points for a $50 AGC.

Keep us posted, I see the offer, but I'm not sure because I've seen it for amex, Citi, Chase deals after I used them once and never got those promos again right away.

Thank you for this. I didn't know this perk exists and just signed up myself. Saving every little bit helps.

It works on everything "Sold and shipped by Amazon"
If it doesn't work on this item, then you don't have the promotion attached to your account.

Select the $5 version "Sold and shipped by Amazon"

It's not a max of $7.50. It's a max of $7.50 off $37.50 every 3 hours. You could do this 5 times a day, 6 days a week and get $1,110 in gift cards each week at 20% off.

Besides, you think $7.50 savings is worse than just $5 savings in this deal?

Where do you buy the gift cards? My post office doesn't have them...
I didn't need to leave my house and drive for 30 minutes to save the $5...
So, yeah the $5 is better ... unless you can buy them on usps.com...Peace

My bigger (closest) post office has them and a selection of about 25 cards.

A tiny old fashioned post office farther away from me didn't sell gift cards.

I don't know if USPS.COM has them. I think the reason post offices have them is for people who need to mail last minute gifts on the spot.

Some people mail things daily for business. Or maybe check their PO Box daily. These people can make this part of their routine.

Plus there's other boosts. I just got 15% Chick Fil A. You can buy gift cards at location to load in the app or load money in the app (beware, for me one time this did not trigger the boost, but every other time it has). You also earn chick fil a points in app for food. So it's like 25% back altogether. Not to mention 10% at grocery stores.
