Got the Trooper 20qt from the last deal. Came brand new in the box. Came with the carabiner multi-tool/bottle opener. I took it to the beach for a week and to backyard BBQs. It's perfect for what it is and I really prefer the latch to the pain in the butt zippers the Yeti has. Easy one handed opening and closing versus struggling with a zipper with both hands.

How can a cooler be refurbished? I mean do they go bad and they can be refurbished?

No comparison. Otterbox us US made and top quality. Igloo is trash in comparison. I own two ventures. I also own a yeti, and an orca. The drawback are the space taken by the handles but they're comfortable to carry unlike the hand killer yeti.

Thanks for this, bought the 20qt for my mom and 25qt for myself for road trips. Hopefully they can live up to what everyone has been saying here in terms of chill performance.

I was going to get a Orca but they are pretty much on the same price as Yeti and Artc

Bought the 40 qt last time. It's not that great. I thought it would keep ice more an a day but it does not. Maybe mine was defective and hence why it was refurbished.

I purchased the 20qt. Trooper the last time this deal came around. The cooler was new in the box but had what appeared to be a defect. The insulation was not uniform all the way around the inside of the cooler and bulged in the back right corner. The internal liner was also a bit loose and not glued to the insulation. My neighbor ordered one as well and had the exact same issue. I do not see that as a concern, however, as the quality is higher than most coolers out there. My big concern going forward is Otterbox not warrantying the item should something go wrong with the latch. The lid's flip over latch, while innovative, does not feel like the strongest plastic in the world. I think I recall seeing that the cooler was made in China and not in the USA like Orca Coolers. The Chinese are not exactly known for producing strong quality plastic.

I got one of the 20s last time and it has become my most used cooler. It really holds the cold better than any similar size non-rotomolded cooler.

I purchased the 65. How big is this thing? I couldn't find dimensions but I was looking for something 'large' for home use (no need to move around). Would save me having to have two fridges or so during summer events just to keep things cool when I still end up buying ice. Might as well but a little more ice for a few more $ instead of wasting it on the electricity side of it.

I have the 65qt venture. Used it on a week and a half trip out west in Utah. Sat in the bed of my truck in 114 degree weather. Only needed to fill it up a couple times. It really is a great cooler. I do highly recommend the divider for it and also the dry storage bin if it's not already included. If I didn't have one, I'd be picking it up.
