I asked the membership/refund people today and I was told that they would definitely do a price match within 30 days of purchase regardless if it's a black Friday deal or not.

Anybody know of a sale on 65" version and 75" version of this TV? 85 is too big for me.

65" should be about $1k and 75" should be around $1569. Those were previous best prices.

I have an Xbox series x coming mid November and need a new TV to go with it.

how big is big enough for yall? Each year it goes up 10" that becomes dirt cheap. And I know right about now all the people who dont own their own house and just renting a room, or staying at their parents will start to get out of this upgrade each year because for many 65" is the max their space can accomodate in a room or basement. Maybe some are fortunate to still fit in a 75". But 85" I feel is the point where even those who can, CANT because they simply dont have the space.

For myself, im ready for 95 to 100"+ I made sure not hang these because there isnt a point anywhere. Also the reason I didnt get a projector even those short throw laser blah blah blah with aLR screens. As great as they are and how projector technology has gone a long way even with bright rooms, still cant replace a real tv. 85" which ive had since last year is NICE, very immersed experience 12 ft from the screen. Never feels too small. At this size and distance, ONLY NOW do I see 4K advantage and how inferior 1080P is.

I've been using 1080p projector against my bedroom wall (about 12ft away). That huge 110" picture is awesome but brightness and pixel density has always been an issue. I recently did a remodel and got rid of the old headboard furniture that held the projector so now I have to deal with mounting it on the ceiling, right above my head. It's time I switch to TV. Still, the 85" x900h's stand (60" wide) will barely be contained by my dresser (63"). It's a bit scary to think of so little extra space. If there's an earthquake (I'm in CA) and that thing slides...oh boy. Maybe wall mounting that beast but that's a whole other dilemma.

So yeah, 85" maybe too big.

Considering the 4k@120hz and eArc issues, I might look to a 4k projector route and deal with ceiling mounting it.
Another, more feasible, route is get a 65" to replace my living room's 60" TV. Space is constrained there due to furniture depth (only 13" to hold the TV stand). 65" fits perfectly.
For this route, I've been waffling between the LG CX OLED and the x90ch. I ultimately decided against oled since I watch a lot of subtitled content. Burn-in is a huge problem for subtitles.

Given that it is currently sold out.. I would assume that this will be a hot item
Not necessarily. Costco seems to have taken it offline until the sale. There are plenty at your local store.

It seems that it vary by stores/managers. It really up to them whether they're willing to do it or not. Talk toy your local and see if they're willing to
My store just told me only within a 14 day window

Yes. I specifically asked about Black Friday or Holiday Sales and her specific words were "Special sales don't matter. Just bring the receipt in and we'll give you a price adjustment as longs as it is within 30 days."
Well I will try I hope so! The return window we were told is 90 days. But either way I will bring in the receipt and try. I'm sure on the 20th they will be real busy.

People keep saying this, but do we know for sure if Costco actually does this? Costco is a profit-seeking enterprise... do we really believe they want to hold back inventory which takes up space that could be used for saleable items just to sell it 3 to 4 weeks later at $500 to $600 less per unit? If they are, it doesn't seem like good fiscal management. For high volume retailers, holding inventory for 3 or 4 weeks is a long time.

Well the Costco we joined told me different and now I am on the phone with the other Costco and she said if it's in their Balck Friday or Holiday Booklet no we can't price match. And now they got me a manager to clarify and he said oh let me transfer for you to membership and returns and I said oh isn't that who I was just talking too and he said no and he gave me back to the same person. She said her other higher up manager comes in at 1:30 she can ask and have him call me back. She said sometimes managers can over ride the system.

Correct they are really not supposed too from what I've been told but maybe this manager will ok it for us. I called the other Costco that we normally wouldn't go too the one we joined is closer and I guess I could go to a manager there too if this one won't do it. I just called this other store cause I knew what our store told us. So I guess will wait and see.

I see no evidence of this unless there was an announcement. They are probably just out of stock online and waiting for more. Maybe they are trying to build up stock so people can order on 11/20, who knows.

There are plenty in-store but I suspect many people have no good way to get it home due to its size.

Remember online and instore is different. Thus far, I have not seen any reports stating that online will not price match. If it were me, I'd just buy now in store if you can, otherwise, monitor the website and buy when it comes back in stock. Then worry about price matching on 11/20. You can always return/cancel.

We went from a 70 inch 2018 Vizio that wasn't playing well anymore with my husbands Nakamichi soundbar. We started to get this LG 82 inch for a little less than the 75 inch Sony. Several people told us Sony was way better even if it was 75 over the 82 LG. And the 82 wouldn't of fit on our stand and it was still an upgrade to us so we did the 75 for $1769. We were told it would be $1569 on the 20th. The ad had said $1769 sale was over on the 25th and we hurried to get and then it changed to Nov. 19th so on the 20th they said that is their Black Friday sale that they do theirs a week early. That is what they told us.

Good luck. It seems that most people have a better chance of getting it pricematched online than in store. I would keep checking back online to see if you can get on.

Personally online is better since they'll deliver and bring it to your a room of your choice. And if you need to return they'll haul it away.

We did already buy we got the 75 inch Sony for $1769 last Sunday which will be $1569 on the 20th. I was afraid I wouldn't get one on the 20th. But I was also told on-line and in stores sometimes are different. Someone said just order one and if you get it return it with your old receipt and not to go packing up the TV you already have set up but that's a lot of trouble. I am hoping they just price match. I'd like to get one in store than wait outside for a bit then have hubby walk in with the one I just bought and old receipt so I don't have to take it home with me than bring it back LOL! I guess will wait and see.
