Sorry if this question has already been posted. What is the best TV mount recommended for something like this?
If you don't need to be able to extend/turn it, but only tilt it, I used this one: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0069LTR1W/

It was only like $32 from Monoprice when i bought it and Amazon is gouging now since Monoprice is out of stock for a few more weeks, but I was able to catch 4 studs with the mount because it's so wide. The TV is over my fireplace so I like having 4 bolts in the studs.

Any sub-$400 all-in-one soundbar recommendations for this? I was looking at the Sonos Beam but I read that that one should go for a 55" max.

I'm trying to decide that myself! I definitely want a full-motion mount that allows for leveling adjustment.

Here's 3 I'm looking into, although I'm not sure the MW has leveling adjustment.

If you have a Sam's membership, the Member's Mark full motion mount is nice. It was $90 and worked great for the 85" I mounted a couple months ago.

People actually still getting this tv even with the 2.1 issues.....Wow.
It's blur in the text when using a 4K/120 4:4:4 signal that is the problem. For 99% of uses, that will not be important. It really only matters if you are planning to use it as a monitor, or on rare occasion for text while gaming at 4K/120.

Selling point for some. I care more about the 5 year warranty and 85" size. I don't play games.

Absolutely! People buy the same product for often very different reasons. It's doubtful the 4K/120hz issue will ever be an issue for me since I stopped playing video games almost 20 years ago!

What about the issue of tv turning off by itself. Some ppl have mentioned this. I bought the Sony 850 Costco for $1400 but plan to return & get this since it's $500 more but alot better than the base model I have.

So people who don't need 4K@ 120Hz shouldn't buy this? Which other 85" is better than this for under $2K?

Yeah overall its a good set...but imagine when this set came out at 2500 before tax......and there were people who got the set so they could game at 4k/120hz. It better be a software issue but i if its hardware going to be a lot of pissed off people.

it's not the selling point at all...
it's a fantastic TV, with great specs, for a great price at this sale.

i'm not buying because i think it'll do 4K@120Hz, i went it figuring it wouldn't... even before the SW/FW updates from Sony. it's also silly that you think either console this gen is actually going to run anything other than a game like Snake at 120Hz. they've said from the beginning that they're aiming for 60Hz, with a maybe 120Hz... no AAA will run there.

so, yeah... for this gen of consoles and year of TVs, it's a big who cares and certainly not a reason to not get in on this deal.
