I went to Best Buy yesterday and spoke with one of their reps working the TV area and I was looking at their Sony X900H 85" model. I told him about the Costco X90CH 85" model that I thought is the same one and how the price will be $1970 starting on Nov 20th.

He went on to tell me that the X90CH Costco model is NOT the same model as the X900H that Best Buy sells and that the X90CH uses lower end older parts which is why Costco can sell it at a lower price and what not. I've researched alot on this TV and no where have I seen anything about what he mentioned.

I'm guessing the Best Buy rep was just bsing me but can anyone shed some light on this? The Best Buy reps don't get commission on TVs so there's no incentive to make things up, maybe he heard it from somewhere and just repeats it thinking it's true.

Let me know what you decide. Not worried about the price point.
If I had to buy right this minute it would be this one:

https://www.costco.com/.product.1902261.html

It's supposed to be on sale soon ($40 off), so I will wait.

I'll second that he's full of bs. Also, the Magnolia reps are on commission and don't just sell what's in the Magnolia display area.

Hah. I also got the 75" on the 1570 sale. Wife saw me looking at this and gave me a hard no.
Feel your pain. Just got the $899 Vizio 55 inch OLED that was on sale in Best Buy this week and returned it unopened today 😊

It's not worth buying a mount solely based on price. Because some of them are a pain to work with.

I recently bought a Peerless brand (and they have a decent reputation) for this 90CH tv and I was not happy with the sturdiness of it. And the way the tv mounts on the arm is a pain in the ass. I'm returning it.

I'm buying an ECHOGEAR mount like I had before. Great price $90 for a great product.
Thank you for the suggestion

It's been going in and out of stock since the deal was posted. Someone posted it was live again like 3 hours ago, but it sells out fast. Either they are saving most inventory for the start of the sale on the 20th, or they really just have that little stock since this is a popular deal.

I got the TV delivered last week and it's amazing. Waiting until the 20th to submit the price match.

I believe you're right, only online orders can be delivered.
I already spoke to rep and got my refund couple of days ago. Try chatting.

I hope someone can answer whether TVs these days and possible this TV has a feature I've been looking for. This is the ability to connect two separate pairs of headphones at the same time via bluetooth while watching content? The situation I was thinking of is if you live in an apartment and can't put the volume too loud but want to watch something with someone else? Thanks in advance!

The TV shouldn't matter. That's a big purchase for a very specific feature, look into a receiver or other component and keep a look out for the tv that meets your display needs first.
