My Costco said no adjustment if bought before 20th instore, maybe I should drive to another.
My Costco said I can price adjust. I asked one guy in the electronics near the TV then when I got to the register I asked them again. Both said I can price adjust. Seems like mixed answers but bottom line should be its their policy that you can price adjust within 30 days. Was told this as well by both employees.

I already spoke to rep and got my refund couple of days ago. Try chatting.
Did you just ask them to look up the flyer for the deals that start on the 20th?

I don't intend to use the smart tv functions of the TV (prefer Apple TV), so I might keep the TV off the 'net, and never update the firmware, to avoid any chance of software problems.
The current upgrade that was pulled is broken. But in general, the firmware upgrades are a good thing and will fix stability issues and add features. Not sure why you would "never upgrade".

I keep getting product not found on the Costco website. Trying to buy this beforehand with shipping and price adjust after. I'm afraid that all the units will be sold out come 11/20/20.

I just picked up this TV today, the picture is amazing! Very happy with it so far. I also saw another gentleman buying the 75 inch at full price. I mentioned its going to be on sale in 7 days he said he knows he's just buying it now to ensure he gets one then going back on the 20th to price match. I said thats smart me too. It appears people are going to be doing that and buy the time the sale starts there will be little to no stock so i suggest everyone pick up there tvs now and price match on the 20th. I got this mount

For my 85 inch. No issues. Holds up to 130 lbs.
what is the normal price?

Current price is $2600. Its coming down to around $1980 or so. although best buy claims it's on sale at $2600 and the regular price is $2800

Edit: I just noticed best buy is out of stock at all 6 stores where I live, they had some the other day, are they price matching?

Best Buy is out of stock because their warehouse has very low stock. A few weeks ago, I spoke to two different Magnolia reps and both told me the same thing. Their warehouse had less than 40 units, and would normally have 200-300 if on sale. The 65" version was going on sale for 999 for BF and they had sufficient stock for it.
Regarding price matching, BB does it, but the model numbers need to be the same. Since they are different on the tv sets sold in Costco and Sam's, no price match. I bought a membership the other day and also got their cc, so I will be buying it on friday and will get a 7 year warranty on it, 5 from the extended policy from Sony and the additional 2 from the credit card. That alone is the main reason to buy it from Costco, even if BB price matched. You're talking 7 years versus the basic 1 year with warranties.

Most retailers will not stock too many giant TVs. It is easier to sell 2 or 3 smaller sizes than one BIG one.

At this price it is truly a great deal.

Agreed. I also heard BB wouldn't price match because model numbers are different but same TV. I purchased from Costco yesterday with citi card. Loving this TV, very beautiful, great picture!! Perfect size as well for my space sitting about 12 feet from the TV. Highly recommend!

Check Craigslist or similar websites. Im sure many with a truck would be willing to bring it home for you for a small price.

My Costco said "normally" they would price match, but the deal they made with the vender this time excluded price matching. He said the deal for this TV will only be available on those dates; they will NOT price match if the TV is bought before hand. Your friend may be out of luck.

100% false. Look at Costco's price match policy. Also, the ad has no mention of not price matching. Further, several have had an online chat saying they will price match during the sale period.
