Looks like best buy is having a big vizio sale and the new oled is part of it. Not sure if this was a mistake on Best Buy's part to discount both the new Elevate sound bar and the new OLED

This uses LG oled panels.
Comparison between the Vizio OLED and LG CX:

- Doesn't have as high peak HDR brightness
- CX has better black frame insertion
- VRR seems poor or not working properly according to rtings
- slightly higher input lag, but it's less than a frame at 60hz
- I hate Vizio's app system. My current Vizio I had to switch to a fire cube.
One thing I also liked about the CX is the 3.5mm audio out which I use sometimes on my current TV. Won't matter to 99% of people.
It may be an LG panel, but it's not the same as the CX, maybe BX.

They all use the same panel... There is no difference between panels this year. They only manufactured 1 panel. However, in image quality, processing and color grading, there can be a difference out of the box. That being said, these sets are also capable of full image calibration which make them closer to the same... On paper at least.
The panels have to be slightly varying in quality, there's no backlight. The Vizio doesn't hit the peak brightness in HDR that the CX or the older models C9/C8 according to rtings' testing.
To each thier own, but his review says different.

Rtings does direct measurements of the displays. It just is what it is. They didn't guess and say "Well we think the Vizio doesn't get as bright as the CX".

Best Buy is the only one that covers burn in hence why it costs more.
Best Buy Geek Squad covers burn in. All-state does not.
