Sure thing. Just spread some rep if you can Wink

Calibration was aiming for 6500K with gamma set to 2.2. So I calibrated with a brightness of 40, contrast 50, black boost 5. Color 2.2, color temp set to User, R Gain 48, G Gain 47, B Gain 47.

It's said you can adjust brightness without affecting the temperature or colors much. Rtings calibrates at 100 nits actually (for those that don't know).

Uploaded the .icm file and the DisplayCal report post-calibration.

I can try to calibrate again under the Warm color temperature setting. I think it should be more universal, and at 6600K it's already close to my target of 6500K. Just keep in mind the whole procedure takes roughly an hour, so give me a day or two if anyone is interested.

Slickdeals site doesn't allow me to upload .icm files, so I uploaded to Google Drive.

I looked into this and general consensus is that this WILL NOT work. Most Costco employees online are saying they are told not to honor price adjustments for Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals and sales for items purchased beforehand. Of course, you can risk it but there isn't any guarantee you will get the price adjusted (most said if the item goes out of stock, Costco will definitely not price adjust).

This deal is super tempting but I will play it safe and hold out to the 30th just in case a similar Dell monitor goes on sale.

Edit: also found out that even using the Costco Visa Rewards CC will not qualify your purchase for the price rewind. It only applies to other stores' prices, not to Costco.

So buy twice? If cannot price match then return the monitor and buy again during the holiday?
Yeah I was gonna say, they better expect a ton of returns of used monitors if they won't price match.

Just picked up a Gigabyte UW from Best Buy, how does this Acer compare? Might be worth it just for Costco's policies.
Mine's arriving today! I probably would have waited to save $50 on what look like equally well performing monitors but I can't be made about a 34" 144hz UW for $400. The only annoying thing I see from the spec sheet on the Acer is the 75mm mounting pattern. It also doesn't specify how long the warranty is.

Can anyone tell me if this monitor offers picture-by-picture (2x 1720x1440 displays running off separate inputs) or no?

Also, what are the odds this monitor will work with Gsync? I do not see that it is certified to do so.

I think Costco doesn't do price match even to its own store. I bought toothpastes 1 day before discount. I can only return it and buy at discount price instead of get a price match. I would say hold off until on sale. $449.99 is not attractive.

Anyone know the freesync range on this monitor? I can't find it listed on any of the technical documents.

I think Costco have a life-time return period for monitors. It is the best of the bests. Acer has 3 year limited warranty on monitors (link: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/con...d-warranty).

How does it compare to 34" Acer Nitro XV340CK 3440x1440 UltraWide 144Hz IPS Gaming Monitor $400 form BHPhoto? I like the one sold by Costco has 400nits.

Just checked with Costco.com customer service via. chat and they noted the price adjustment for lowered pricing within 30-days of purchase will work even on Cyber Monday. And in the case it doesn't, just return it and buy it at the discounted price on November 30th. You can't lose with Costco! Cool

So spec-wise they would probably be comparable 1:1, the big win with this would be the convenience to just walk into any Costco at anytime and return for a full-refund in case any product issue or you just don't want the product, Costco would definitely be most accomodating.

Is this worth extra $50 compare to Samsung ultrawide 34inch(s34j55) i just bought from Costco even if I don't play games. Should I return it and get this one instead?
Just looked at the specs on that Samsung vs. this monitor. This is a curved ultra-wide vs. normal ultra-wide (a bit more immersive and you won't need to turn your head so much to follow the entire monitor when sitting directly in front of the monitor). The Samsung refresh rate and response rate are 75Hz/4ms vs. 144Hz/1ms of this monitor. So the most important specs are a bit better on this monitor.
